Juicer Comparison Summary
Let’s start with a quick summary of the results from my reviews. I’ve separated these into the two main types of juicer: centrifugal and masticating.
Centrifugal Juicers
Centrifugal juicers are high speed, highly convenient appliances that achieve an impressive juice yield with a minimum of waiting around. They’re also particularly good if you need a citrus juicer first and foremost.
A fast juicer introduces more heat and oxygen to the drink though, which isn’t so good for shelf life or the preservation of nutrients.

Masticating Juicers
If you’re serious about your juicing then you’ll be more interested in a masticating juicer.
These work more slowly than centrifugal juicers, but typically achieve a much higher juice yield.
That fresh juice itself is also more nutrient rich, and it’ll store longer in the refrigerator if you’re working in bigger batches.
It’s the best juicer for you if you really care about the quality of your drinks.

“Tribest juicers cost a pretty penny, but feature some extraordinary gear tech to maximize juice extraction. Although I think the Omega will be enough for most households, this is a great juicer to pick if only the best will do. ”
What Exactly Makes A Juicer Easy To Clean?
I’ve got a more detailed buying guide after the reviews, but we’re obviously talking easy to clean juicers here. What am I looking for in the juicers I’ve shortlisted?
Dishwasher Safe – The easiest way to make a juicer easy to clean! The more bits of the juicer that can go in the dishwasher, the better. You may still have to do some manual cleaning though, which brings us onto the next point…
Useful Tools – Some juicers include a cleaning brush out of the box. A tool that’s designed precisely for the job at hand is preferable, although it’s not a deal-breaker. Generic brushes are easy enough to pick up online.
Ease Of Assembly – The easier a juicer is to take apart and put back together again, the easier it will be to take care of.
Fewer Parts – Sounds obvious, but the less moving parts there are, the less bits and bobs there are to clean. This makes overall maintenance a much simpler affair.
Spill Reduction – It’s not just your juicer that can be a pain in the behind to clean. Juicing is a messy business at the best of times, and your countertop can quickly get messy. A juicer that comes with a cap to minimize drips is always a good thing to keep an eye out for.
Easy To Clean Juicer Reviews
If you’re looking for a more detailed review of each of these juicers, then look no further.
If you’re still uncertain about making the best choice, have a look at the buying guide after the reviews.
This covers the topics I think about when buying a juicer for my own kitchen, and will help you work out your priorities.
Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus
The JE98XL from Breville is one of the most popular centrifugal juicers on the market right now.
It features some patented Breville technology that produces a really impressive yield, which in turn is good for making your grocery budget go further.

Inside you’ll find a titanium-reinforced disk for blitzing the produce, backed up by a high quality micro mesh filter basket. These are both forged from stainless steel, and not only perform exceptionally well but will last for years too.
In terms of feeding that produce into the juicer, the Juice Fountain Plus features a three inch feeding chute. That’s pretty standard for a juicer like this, and the bare minimum I like to see.
With this chute you can get many small whole fruits and vegetables processed without any chopping prep at all. You won’t fit everything in there, but most other produce you use needs nothing more than a bit of rough chopping.
One thing I really don’t like in my juice is a lot of froth, and you typically get a lot of that from a centrifugal juicer.
Breville’s solution is to include a built-in froth separator which keeps that froth away from the drink as it’s poured. You may well like a foamier drink, but it’s a definite plus point in my book!
Controls on the JE98XL are very simple, and consist of nothing more than a small switch on the motor base.
The lower speed is best for soft fruits and leafy vegetables. This gives the Juice Fountain Plus proper time to work on the produce, and achieve a high juice yield.
For tougher, rougher stuff like carrots, I’d recommend using the high speed instead. This absolutely pounds the produce into submission, and works really hard to unlock the juicer buried deep within this dense stuff.
Finally, the Juice Fountain Plus is also specially designed to be easy to clean.
For a start, the entire frame has been deliberated made from smooth, rounded parts. In sharper-edged designs, food has a tendency to build up in the gaps, which is a pain in the neck to even see, let alone scrub out.
This design means it’s very easy to just run the main components under warm water to get rid of the worst of the muck, while a quick wipe down finishes the job.
One of the more annoying cleaning jobs with any juicer is the filter mesh. A cleaning brush – purpose designed for the job – is also supplied with the Juice Fountain Plus, and makes life a lot easier.
Overall, I think the JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus is an easy recommendation to make if you’re after the best easy to clean juicer for your kitchen, and if speed and convenience is vital.
Pros
- An extremely convenient and powerful juicer from a trusted brand.
- Two speeds tackle different ingredients really well.
- Rounded design makes cleaning very easy.
- High juice yield with a surprisingly low level of froth.
- Simple controls make juicing a doddle.
Cons
- Buy an extended warranty if possible, as it’s not the most durable juicer.
- Quite a loud appliance, even for a centrifugal juicer.
- Screen must be kept clean to maintain a dry pulp.
- Feed chute has quite a sharp edge.
Comparison Specs
- Juicer Type: Centrifugal
- Size: 13.2 x 16.5 x 18.2 inches
- Weight: 10 pounds
- Feed Chute: 3 inches
- Position: Vertical
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: Yes
- Warranty: 1 Year
Hamilton Beach Pro Juicer
The Hamilton Beach Pro Juicer is my top choice of easy to clean centrifugal juicers – if you’re working to a budget but still want the best citrus juicer.
Just because it’s comparatively inexpensive, however, that doesn’t mean it compromises too much on performance.
Hamilton Beach Juicer Machine, Big Mouth...

- SAVE TIME & EFFORT: The extra-large 3 inch Big Mouth chute on the fruit juicer lets you easily add whole...
- MAXIMUM JUICE YIELD: Juice everything from dense beets to leafy greens. The powerful 800 watt motor and...
The 800 Watt motor does a good job of blitzing vegetable and fruit juices surprisingly quickly, and the yield’s impressive for a juicer at this end of the price range.
Like the Cuisinart juicer I just reviewed, the Hamilton Beach comes with a generously sized three inch feed chute. Again, that means you have to spend less time chopping and slicing, although larger items will still need a little quick prep work.
You can keep feeding that produce in continuously as well. There’s quite a large pulp bin on the Pro Juicer, which means you don’t have to constantly stop and start to empty the thing.
As for the juice cup itself, it maxes out at 20 ounces, which I think is good for a couple of juicy, refreshing drinks!
You wouldn’t expect a juicer at this end of the market to look like the flashiest appliance, but I think it’s more than good enough for most kitchens.
It comes apart for the cleaning process – or general storage – very easily, which makes it easy to recommend for those of you who are new to juicing.
The majority of the parts are constructed from BPA free plastic, and these are all dishwasher safe too. That makes it easy to clean, with only the base unit requiring a wipe down with a damp cloth.
To help you get at more stubborn food remains, the Pro Juicer also comes with a cleaning brush out of the box – always good to see.
Oh, and you also get a recipe book in the box too. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not as though the internet is exactly starved of juicing recipes!
Still, I thought it was a nice touch, and it’s always good to have plenty of inspiration to hand so you can start getting a return on your investment.
In summary? The Hamilton Beach Pro Juicer is the best easy to clean juicer if you’re working to a strict budget.
You might also be a beginner in the world of juicing, who just wants to get a cost-effective taste of what’s out there.
Pros
- Impressive performance from a budget centrifugal juicer. Great for citrus fruit in particular.
- Large pulp bin means you can keep juicing for quite a while between emptying.
- Very simple to use, making it the best easy to clean juicer for beginners.
- Easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning.
- Includes a recipe book to help you get started.
Cons
- Softer fruits don’t quite give up all of their juice.
- Moves around a little on the countertop, so hold it down!
- Can’t be put through too much punishment before it starts heating up.
- Some owners have reported leakage after having the Hamilton Beach for a while.
Comparison Specs
- Juicer Type: Centrifugal
- Size: 7.8 x 11.5 x 14.4 inches
- Weight: 7.8 pounds
- Feed Chute: 3 inches
- Position: Vertical
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: Yes
- Warranty: 1 Year
Omega NC800HDS Juicer Extractor & Nutrition System
Next I want to move onto the world of masticating – or slow – juicers.
And in that world there is one brand that dominates above all others.
Omega’s built itself a reputation for making some of the best juicers on the market, and the Omega NC800DHS is one of its biggest sellers.
Omega Juicer NC800HDS Juice Extractor and...
- INDUSTRY LEADING 15 YEAR - Coverage on parts and performance
- LONGER LASTING JUICES - Using a low speed of 80 RPMs results in minimal heat buildup and oxidation...
- EXCLUSIVE - Dual stage masticating extraction
This particular juicer works at a slow and steady pace of 80 RPM to really twist and grind every last drop of juice out of your fruits and vegetables. That helps your grocery budget go much further.
Compared to a centrifugal juicer, this slower speed also dramatically reduces the amount of oxygen and heat that’s added to the drink during the juice extraction.
That means a more nutritious juice, with less foam, and one that will store in the refrigerator for much longer too.
The auger system inside the NC800HDS forces the produce into a chamber, and then squeezes it hard to deliver a really impressive juice yield.
This slow and steady pressure also means you get much more juice out of trickier ingredients like wheat grass and leafy greens.
You’ll struggle to get a decent amount of juice out of this stuff using a centrifugal machine, as they’re often spat out before they’ve given up their delicious juice.
To increase output further there’s also an adjustable end cap on the NC800HDS. By tweaking this to suit the produce at hand, you can increase the yield further.
Everything left over after the juicing process has finished is also cleanly spat out, courtesy of an automatic pulp ejection system. It’s one of the least messy juicers I’ve reviewed as a result.
The NC800HDS also offers quite a lot of versatility. As well as delivering really good juice, you can use it to make other soft produce like nut butter, baby food, nut milks, purees and so on.
You can even extrude pasta with it, although if you’re serious about that side of kitchen life I’d still recommend getting a dedicated pasta maker.
Given the relatively large size of a horizontal juicer though, this kind of extra functionality is always very useful. Few of us have unlimited kitchen countertop space, after all, so it’s always good to have a single appliance that can handle multiple jobs.
One of the real selling points of buying an Omega juicer is the company’s very generous warranty support.
In the case of the NC800HDS you get a comprehensive 15 year warranty covering parts and performance.
On the one hand, these juicers aren’t exactly cheap. On the other hand, you have confidence that it will serve you well for at least 15 years. If you can afford the upfront cost, it very often pays to invest in a brand like Omega.
In terms of how easy it is to clean, I would say the Omega NC800HDS is no better or worse than any other masticating juicer.
It comes apart relatively easy enough, and the removeable parts are dishwasher safe too. You also get a cleaning brush with this juicer, which makes cleaning the trickier parts a lot easier.
Pros
- A leading machine from one of the biggest names in the business.
- Slow and steady 80 RPM operating speed achieves fantastic yield.
- Adjustable end cap helps optimize the juicer for different ingredients.
- Can take on a number of soft food processing tasks using the attachments included.
- One of the best warranties you can get at 15 years!
Cons
- More plastic in the construction than I’d like.
- Overheats after around half an hour of continual use.
- Instructions for setting up aren’t particularly clear. Fortunately, YouTube fixes this!
- One of the louder slow juicers I’ve reviewed.
- Quite a big appliance for your kitchen countertop.
Comparison Specs
- Juicer Type: Masticating
- Size: 14. 5 x 6.5 x 15.5 inches
- Weight: 18.7 pounds
- Feed Chute: 2 x 1.5 inches (oval)
- Position: Horizontal
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: Yes
- Warranty: 15 Years
Aicok Slow Masticating Juicer
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve recommended Aicok’s juicer on Viva Flavor. It’s a cost-effective but hard-working little juicer that frequently takes the top spot for budget machines.
Part of the reason for its unexpected performance comes from the clever design of its auger system.
No products found.
This corkscrew-like device slowly chews through fruits and vegetables, opening up the core of the produce to extract the juice inside.
It achieves that extraction at a slow pace of 80 RPM, reducing the amount of heat and oxygen added to the juice. The juice comes out with less foam, greater nutritional value, and you can store it in the fridge for longer too.
I was also impressed at what a good job Aicok’s very affordable juicer does of separating the leftover pulp from your juice. That means a pulp free juice, which is really important for some.
Most masticating juicers are pretty quiet compared to centrifugal juicers, but Aicok’s machine goes a little further.
Operating at around 60 decibels, this is a very good option if you’re both working to a budget and need to keep a quiet household. If you’re the first one up in your household each morning, for example, you won’t have to worry about waking the family up.
In terms of ease of cleaning, the Aicok is a simple machine that comes apart very quickly. The parts that do separate from the motor are dishwasher safe as well.
For the fiddlier parts of cleaning up, you also get a cleaning brush out of the box.
Finally, the Aicok comes with a surprisingly generous 3 year warranty. That’s very unusual for any kind of kitchen appliance at this end of the market.
This extended warranty cover does much to explain why this juicer is frequently cited as the best affordable juicer on the market.
Pros
- A surprisingly effective slow juicer at an affordable price.
- Spiral auger gets a lot of juice out of each piece of produce.
- Quiet and so very suitable for noise-sensitive households.
- Lengthy warranty for an entry level juicing machine.
- Good pulp separation.
Cons
- This juicer is mainly made out of plastic.
- Although quiet in operation, some elements are prone to developing squeaks over time.
- Replacement parts are very hard to source if you need to undertake a quick DIY repair.
- Some tricky to clean parts – nothing too problematic, but it takes a little more work.
- Some moisture remains in the produce.
Comparison Specs
- Juicer Type: Masticating
- Size: 16. 1 x 7.9 x 11.6 inches
- Weight: 8.25 pounds
- Feed Chute: 3 inches
- Position: Horizontal
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: Yes
- Warranty: 3 Years
Tribest Greenstar GSE 5000 Masticating Extractor
Finally, I wanted to wrap things up with a review of one of Tribest’s popular cold press juicers.
Although I think a decent Omega juicer is about as good as any household really needs, Tribest goes even further with its extraction technology.
Tribest Greenstar GSE-5000 Elite Slow...
- Produces Fresher Juice with Twin Gears: Revolutionary stainless-steel twin gears with unique points...
- Electric Juice Extractor: Assures higher nutritional content and fresher-tasting juices by preserving...
- Versatile Capacity: Creates delicious dishes like frozen sorbets, nut butters, and salsas, or make your. ..
Before going any further, however, it’s important to be aware that Tribest juicers typically cost quite a bit more money than the competition.
That extra cost is justified largely by the intricate design of the juicing mechanism, something that Tribest calls “Jumbo Twin Gear” technology.
Within these gears you’ll find a complex collection of points that are designed, in essence, to replicate the chewing motion of your very own teeth!
There are sharp elements that do a fantastic job of tearing through tough vegetables, while other sections are designed to grind through sinewy produce, as you would with your molars.
The overall effect of this is that you can extract juice extremely efficiently, without putting undue strain on the motor.
That means your juicer lasts considerably longer, particularly if you’re working with very tough vegetables.
As well as juices, you can also use use the Greenstar Elite to make things like nut milk, nut butters, frozen desserts, sorbets, sauces and other soft produce. It’s a bit like the Omega I reviewed in that sense, albeit with even more efficient processing.
It comes with all of the accessories you need to complete those jobs right out of the box. You also get a convenient cleaning brush, which helps get at the harder-to-reach crevices and clean up the juicing screens.
Although the removeable parts are all safe to put in the dishwasher, I think a bit of manual TLC is justified on a machine like this.
Still, if you’re prepared to put in a little bit of cleaning work, this is the best easy to clean juicer for those of you who want the best, nothing but the best, and are prepared to pay a premium to achieve it!
Pros
- Other juicers may cost less, but the intricate gear design delivers perfect juice extraction.
- All the accessories you need to tackle many other food processing tasks.
- 5 years of warranty support takes some of the sting out of the cost.
- If it can be juiced, the Tribest Greenstar Elite can juice it!
Cons
- One of the more expensive masticating juicers on the market.
- Of the juicers I reviewed, this is not quite as easy to clean.
- Quite a few plastic parts considering the price.
- Takes a little practice to avoid food blockages.
Comparison Specs
- Juicer Type: Masticating
- Size: 18.6 x 6.8 x 12.4 inches
- Weight: 17.2 pounds
- Feed Chute: 3 inches
- Position: Horizontal
- Dishwasher Safe Parts: Yes
- Warranty: 5 Years
What I Look For In A Juicer
Want to carry on with your own research into finding the best easy to clean juicer for your own kitchen?
I’ve already covered some of the most important factors at the start of this guide, but here are the other things you need to keep in mind when you’re shopping around.
Masticating Or Centrifugal?
The first decision you need to make is whether you need a masticating juicer (also known as a cold press juicer), or a centrifugal juicer.
There are pros and cons to both.
People who are really serious about their juicing tend to favor a masticating juicer.
This sort of juicer slowly chews through the produce, achieving a greater juice yield in the process. That’s great for making your grocery budget go further.
Because of the slow and steady pace, a masticating juicer introduces less heat and oxygen to the juice too. This gives the juice a longer shelf life in the refrigerator, and avoids destroying nutrients.
The flip side, of course, is that the process is…well, slow.
Still, it’s your best option if you want to achieve the very best juicing results.
Centrifugal juicers operate at a much higher speed – many 10s of thousands of RPMs.
This high speed makes rapid work of juicing fruits and vegetables, and is a better choice if you favor convenience over all other considerations.
This high speed and heat is tough on the nutritional content of your drink though, reduces its shelf life, and can add a distinctly foamy texture to your juice.
Centrifugal juicers are also a bad choice if you’re working with tough stuff like leafy greens and wheatgrass. This produce will be rapidly spat out, and before a great deal of the juice potential can be realized.
As with all things, it’s a bit of a balancing act. There’s no shame in buying a centrifugal juicer if it means you’ll actually use the thing more often as a result!
It’s better to get a regular dose of juice from a centrifugal machine, than be put off using a slower juicer because it takes so long.
In this buying guide I’ve deliberately highlighted great overall – and value – options for both kinds of juicer.
Pick the type that’s going to work for you and your own life circumstances.
Is It Dishwasher Safe?
In an article that tries to identify the best easy to clean juicer, I am of course going to give extra points to dishwasher safe appliances!
The vast majority of juicers have components that can be run through the dishwasher. This will be prominently advertised on the product listing as it’s so helpful.
Just be aware that certain components may need a little extra manual cleaning even after they’ve gone through the dishwasher.
You may well find that a cleaning brush is supplied with the juicer you’ve shortlisted, and it’s worth keeping an eye out for these on the product listing.
If not, they’re relatively easy to find on the usual online marketplaces.
Look For A Wide Feeding Chute
One of the most useful design elements on any kind of juicer is a wide feed chute.
The wider it is, the less prep work you’ll have to do with your fruits and vegetables before juicing them.
There will always be items that need a bit of rough chopping, but the more time you can save here the better.
I reckon a three inch feeding chute is a good minimum size to aim for. That means you’ll be able to get small whole fruits in there, while most other produce will likely only need a quick chop in half.
How Much Noise Can You Tolerate?
This will also have some bearing on whether you choose a centrifugal or a masticating juicer.
The slower masticating types make less noise by design, while centrifugal juicers – operating at much higher speeds – are obviously noisier as a result.
Where it gets a little more complicated is the time these things take to get the job done. You may well be able to tolerate the higher noise levels of a centrifugal juicer, if it means the noise ends more quickly!
How Long Is The Warranty And What Does It Cover?
It goes without saying that a longer warranty is a better warranty.
As a general rule of thumb (as with all kitchenware), the more expensive juicers tend to have better warranties attached to them.
It’s worth doing a bit of digging around to see what’s lurking in the fine print though.
Is it covered for accidental damage or just general wear and tear? Is the motor base covered separately? If you use it outside of a domestic setting – even occasionally – will you still be covered?
The juiciest (no pun intended) elements of a warranty are always found in the small print. Take a bit of time to understand the coverage you’re really going to receive.
The Size Of The Juicer And Material Quality
Cheaper juicers are usually made of plastic, which of course won’t prove as durable as a stainless steel construction.
If you’re working to a strict budget, you won’t have as many options when it comes to build quality. Still, the more stainless steel components there are on your juicer of choice, the better.
Whichever juicer you choose, it’s important to measure up carefully.
Most masticating juicers, for example, are quite bulky and have a horizontal footprint. That can make finding a home for it on your countertop tricky, especially if you’re like me and have a small kitchen.
If you’re going to need to take it in and out of storage because you’re space-starved, look for a lighter model.
Centrifugal juicers more commonly have a vertical design, which can be beneficial if you have more vertical height to play with than horizontal space.
The Benefits Of Keeping Your Juicer Clean
Finally, it’s worth reminding ourselves of why it’s worth going to all that effort to keep your juicer nice and clean!
Here are some of the benefits of giving your juicer plenty of regular TLC:
- Regular Makes Easier – Just as with every other kitchen appliance, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to maintenance. If your juicer is easy to clean after every use, you’ll stop that really stubborn gunk from building up. It only gets harder to fix the longer you leave it.
- Avoids Germs – Chances are you’re buying a juicer to get more goodness into your body. Leaving bits of old fruit building up on any kind of kitchenware creates a breeding ground for bacteria. That has the potential to put more than a dampener on your health ambitions…
- Greater Durability – I talked earlier on in this review about the importance of checking your warranty carefully. The best warranty, however, is the one you never have to exercise. A juicer that’s easy to clean helps you avoid wear and tear – particularly when it comes to acidic fruits and vegetables which can take a toll on the materials.
- Better Juice – This kind of goes without saying, but no one wants bits of last week’s juice in today’s drink. You might also find that the performance of your juice degrades noticeably if some of the critical components get clogged up with old produce.

Mueller Austria SD80A Juicer – Best OverallCheck Latest Price
Our first pick is the Mueller Austria SD80A Juicer. This is an 1100-watt centrifugal model that has a convenient three-inch feeding tube capable of handling dense and whole fruits and veggies. This option can make 16 ounces of juice in seconds due to the stainless steel cutting discs and Italian-made micro-mesh filter. The filter also eliminates foam, pulp, and extracts the maximum amount of juice.
This model has dual-speeds. On low, it runs between 12,000 and 15,000 rotations per minute (RPM), and on high it creates juice between 15,000 and 18,000 RPM. With fewer clogs, jams, and foam, you will find the Mueller to be a breeze to clean. In addition to that, the anti-drip cover and low counter footprint keeps things from getting messy, plus the simple assembly makes life even nicer.
This juicer has overload protection, so it won’t overheat. It will also automatically shut-down if you put it together incorrectly. Bisphenol A (BPA) free, this is a quiet appliance with decimal (dB) levels as low as 40. It has anti-slip feet, a safety locking arm, and a tight cover. The Mueller is easy to use, and overall, our favorite juicer that is easy to clean.
To conclude, we think this is the best easy to clean juicer out there.
Pros
- Durable
- Easy to clean
- Low-noise
- Overheat protection
- Dual-speed
- Anti-slip feet
Cons
- Nothing we currently see

You don’t always have to compromise on important features to have a well-working, affordable juicer. This is especially true if you want an easy to clean model. The Hamilton Beach 67601A Juicer Machine is the best easy to clean juicer for the money. It has a three-inch feeding chute for turning dense fruit into smooth liquids, plus it’s made of durable, BPA-free black plastic.
Hamilton Beach’s centrifugal model runs on 800 watts of power, and it has an extra-large pulp bin. It weighs less than ten pounds, plus it has a stainless steel, micro-mesh strainer and cutter for optimal use. Easy to clean, this juicer’s parts are easy to remove. It comes with a convenient cleaning brush, and you can put all the parts in the dishwasher.
You will find this option is not as high-powered as our first model. That being said, it’s not prone to overheating nor is it loud. This is a great juicer if you are on a budget, but still want something that will be easy to take care of regularly.
Pros
- Stainless steel strainer and cutter
- Easy to clean
- Doesn’t overheat
- Quiet
- Extra-large pulp bin
Cons

3. Kuvings B6000S Whole Slow Juicer – Premium Choice
Check Latest Price
The Kuvings B6000S Whole Slow Juicer is a masticating, low-speed option that has a powerful 240-watt motor and runs at a slow 60 RPM to create smooth and foamless juice. Available in a silver pearl style, this model has a three-inch chute that fits whole fruit and vegetables. Using 110 volts, this appliance will not overheat thanks to the brushless motor.
The low-speed of this juicer allows you to extract more nutrients from your ingredients. It is also powerful enough to create nut milk and frozen desserts like sherbert with the blank strainer that comes included. What’s more, it’s a quiet model that will not disturb anyone sleeping if you like early morning juice.
Kuvings is an easy to clean appliance. It comes with a small brush to help you get rid of leftover particles, plus the assembly and disassembly is a simple process. Not only that, but the smart cap keeps the juice from dripping all over your counter and machine. The only drawback is this option is more expensive than our first two. If you need a powerful juicer and like to make frozen desserts, this is a good juicer for you.
Pros
- Low-speed
- Makes frozen desserts and nut milk
- Easy to clean
- Low-noise
- Brushless motor
Cons
- More expensive
4.
Aicook Slow Masticating JuicerCheck Latest Price
Another easy to clean option is the Aicook Slow Masticating Juicer. As the name states, this is a cold-press that has a 150-160-watt motor that rotates as low as 80 RPM. This will give you more juice with less foam. It has a decent 60 dB noise rating. BPA-free, it’s constructed of food-grade stainless steel for durability.
Due to the one-button disassembly, the Aicook is simple to clean. It also has a unique auger and filter integrated design that cuts down on the number of parts you need to wash. For harder to remove ingredients, the juicer comes with a handy filter brush, as well. You can also toss all the parts into the dishwasher.
This is a multi-ingredient juicer capable of crushing and juicing fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens. That being said, it only has a two-inch feeder chute, so you have to cut your ingredients into smaller portions. Additionally, you will find this model overheats if it’s run for too long. Other than that, the seven-order auger will do a good job of creating your favorite juice with less froth, plus it has a reverse function.
Pros
- Stainless steel
- Reverse function
- Easy to clean
- One-button disassemble
- Quiet
Cons
- Can overheat
- Smaller chute opening
5. KOIOS JE-70 Centrifugal Juicer
Check Latest Price
To cover a solid middle of the road option, we like the KOIOS JE-70 Centrifugal Juicer. This is a 1200-watt design that has a stainless steel filter and 13-row, saw-pointed blades. You will also find a three-inch feeding chute that can make 16 ounces of juice in seconds. With rust-proof titanium-plating, it also has a locking bar for added safety.
KOIOS is a smaller juicer that works well in kitchens with limited space. It has two gears plus a pulse mode. First, you have one low gear that runs between 12,000 and 15,000 RPM for softer fruit. You also have two high gears that move between 15,000 and 18,000 RPM for denser ingredients. What you won’t find are any clogs, but it can create a bit more foam.
We also like that this option is easy to assemble and take apart. This makes it easier to clean with the included brush for hard to get at debris. BPA-free, you can also throw all the parts in the dishwasher. One thing that stands out, however, is the higher noise level. What’s more, while it’s easy to clean, it can leak making it a bit messier to use.
Pros
- Stainless steel filter and 13 point blades
- Safety locking arm
- Easy to clean
- Two-gears and pulse function
Cons
- Louder than others
- Messier to use
- More foam
6. Vinci Hands-Free Electric Citrus Juicer
Check Latest Price
Our sixth option is the Vinci Hands-Free Electric Citrus Juicer. This is a one-button use machine that is considerably lighter than most comparable units at 4.3 pounds. Easy to clean, it comes apart quickly and easily, plus you can put the parts in the top rack of the dishwasher. It’s good to note that it’s BPA-free, though you can only use ingredients up to 4.5 inches in diameter.
This model comes with two pulp filters, so you can have as much or as little as you like. It holds up to 12 ounces of juice, and the pressure-sensitive juicing tells the Vinci Hands-free what pressure is needed to extract the most liquid. That being said, you will need to cut the majority of your ingredients into small portions. Not only that, but this juicer is better used with softer fruits.
Louder than other models, we also wanted to share that the plastic parts on this unit are not as durable. That being said, we have found that this brand’s customer service deserves an A+ for their attention to detail and timely response to questions and concerns. While this is not the best juicer, it’s far from the worst; and still easy to clean.
Pros
- Easy to clean
- Pressure-sensitive juicing
- one-button operation
- Includes two pulp filters
Cons
- Loud
- Can only use ingredients 4. 5-inches
- Longer to prep
- Parts are not as durable
7. Tribest SW-2020 Slowstar Juicer
Check Latest Price
The Tribest SW-2020 Slowstar Juicer is a vertical masticating model that has a 200-watt motor and is made of stainless steel. It also has a three-stage speed reduction that can lower the gears to 47 RPM allowing you to juice soft or hard fruits and vegetables. This unit also has a duo blade auger that is BPA-free.
Tribest includes a micing attachment with your juicer. It also has a drip-reducing cap making clean-up easier, plus all the parts are easily detachable. You can add water to the auger housing for a pre-rinse that helps cut down the cleaning time, as well. That being said, the assembly time is a bit longer and more difficult than most. In addition to that, though, you won’t find a lot of pulp or foam in your juice.
Overall, we found this juicer to be less durable than our other options so far. Although this is a quiet machine, we found that it can jam-up if you are using ingredients that are too hard. Finally, though cleaning is not difficult, it can take longer as this option has smaller pieces to take apart.
Pros
- Three-stage speed reduction
- Duo auger blade
- Quiet
Cons
- Longer to clean
- Harder to assemble
- Not as durable
8. Breville BJE830BSS Centrifugal Juicer
Check Latest Price
Another cold-spin model is the Breville BJE830BSS Centrifugal Juicer. Made of brushed stainless steel, it comes with a 1200-watt motor and uses between 110 and 120 volts. This option also has an extra-large 3.5-inch chute for juicing whole fruits and vegetables. Although, you will find more pulp and foam with this machine than with the others.
Breville uses cold-spin technology to send the liquid up and through cutting discs. It also has an Italian made mesh filter, though it’s less durable than we would like. What’s more, this unit comes with a quiet setting that is meant to cut the noise by 40%, however, it’s still louder than most. On the other hand, you have a fast-setting mode that can produce 70 fluid ounces of juice five times faster, but again the liquid is more limited than you would expect.
Complete with a cleaning brush, we have found this machine is harder to clean due to the hard to reach places. That being said, it has a titanium-reinforced cutting disc that is durable. Though this machine will create a good glass of juice, for an easy to clean option, we have found this one to be somewhat lacking.
Pros
- Large chute opening
- Titanium-reinforced cutter disc
- Brushed stainless steel
Cons
- Harder to clean
- Louder
- The filter isn’t durable
- More foam and pulp
9. Oster Easy-to-Clean Professional Juicer
Check Latest Price
Our second to last option is the Oster Easy-to-Clean Professional Juicer. Complete with a 1000-watt motor, this stainless-steel model has an auto-clean feature that scrubs and rinses the filter in seconds. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do the best job and leaves a lot of debris behind. That, combined with the drip-stopper that doesn’t seal properly, this is not an easy to clean juicer.
The Oster has a three-inch feed chute, but it is better used with softer ingredients that you have to cut up beforehand. You will receive a five-cup jar for catching your juice that can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days. BPA-free, it’s important to note that the plastic pieces of this juicer tend to break, though you can put them in the dishwasher.
Other than that, you have dual-speeds with this model depending on your ingredients. Be advised, however, this juicer is prone to jamming and overheating. Due to its lack of easy cleaning, plus the other drawbacks, we have put this option close to the bottom of the list.
Pros
- Dual speeds
- Stainless steel
Cons
- Harder to clean
- Plastic pieces are not durable
- Jams and overheats
- Smaller portions only
10.
Orfeld Slow Masticating JuicerCheck Latest Price
Our final pick is the Orfeld Slow Masticating Juicer. We have put this in the last spot for several reasons, but the most important being how difficult it is to clean. Not only are the components designed in such a way that cleaning them thoroughly is hard, but we also don’t recommend putting them through the dishwasher. To make matters worse, it’s hard to take apart and put back together.
The Orfeld is a slow masticating juicer that has a reverse function. It runs at 80 RPM, and it’s BPA-free. That said, we have found this juicer overheats often, plus it tends to get jammed when trying to juice anything denser than a kiwi. Not only that, but the seven spiral auger is not durable. We would actually venture to say the entire structure is not durable. Although it has two-speeds, you are likely to find a good amount of foam, pulp, and even seeds in your beverage.
All of that combined with the fact that this is a rather loud juicer, we have, unfortunately, decided that this is our least favorite juicer that is meant to be easy to clean. The overheating issues with the motor combined with the less than stellar juice production is hard to get past when the cleaning is also so difficult.
Pros
- Two-speeds
- Reverse function
Cons
- Difficult to clean
- Motor overheats
- Jams
- Not durable
- Loud
- Creates a lot of foam and pulp
Buyer’s Guide: How to Choose the Best Easy to Clean Juicers
As we mentioned previously, cleaning your juicer is an important aspect of your appliance’s care. Below, we will share some benefits of proper maintenance, what else you can do to keep your juicer running longer, and a few things to watch out for when shopping.
Cleaning Your Juicer
Many people find cleaning their juicer an annoying chore. This is not only because it has to be done each time you use it, but if you have a machine with a lot of small parts, it can be difficult. First, let’s take a look at why giving it a good wash after each use is important.
Benefits of Cleaning Your Juicer
- Easier to Clean: Yes, cleaning your juicer makes it easier to clean it…the next time. Fruit that produces a lot of pulp or those with thicker rinds can leave a lot of debris behind on your filters and other parts. If it’s not washed off, it can harden making it difficult to remove later.
- Healthier: When you leave food to dry on any surface, it’s a breeding ground for bacteria. This is even more true if there is any excess liquid leftover. Bacteria can cause a lot of illnesses from digestive issues to full-blown hospital trips. Washing your juicer after each use will ensure any contamination possibilities are eliminated.
- Performance: Not only can dried fruit pulp make cleaning your juicer’s parts more difficult, but it can also reduce the performance of your machine. Caked on leftovers will make it harder for your auger and blades to work their magic.
- Lifespan: Finally, washing your appliance can extend its lifespan by quite a bit. Keeping the mechanisms working properly is always helpful for a long-lasting machine, but acidic fruits such as oranges can wear down your components. If it’s allowed to sit, it can cause quite a bit of damage including rust.
How to Clean Your Juicer
Cleaning your juicer may seem tedious, but it is actually a simple process. That being said, all juicers are not made equally, so it can depend on your make and model. First, however, you want to start by making some juice!
The next step is to unplug and disassemble your juicer as much as possible. Some models have a rinse cycle you can make use of, but even if not, you should run some water through it first. You also want to take it apart piece by piece to ensure you are not missing any hidden locations.
Once you have disassembled your machine, you can place them in a tub of warm water and dish detergent. Allow them to soak for five minutes then start rinsing them one by one. You will also want to have a small scrub brush (a small and extra small size if possible) with soft bristles available. Most models come with one, but you can generally pick them up cheaply.
As you rinse each item, thoroughly inspect it for leftover food. Remove any debris with your brush, and return it to the soapy bin to be put back in the rotation. Let the parts air dry on a towel before reassembling.
Note: Some brands are dishwasher safe, but chances are you will be using your juicer more often than you will run your dishwasher. That being said, some dishwashers are too hot for the plastic components, so if you decide to toss them in, use either a China/Crystal setting or only place the items on the top rack.
What to Look For In An Easy-to-Clean Juicer
By now, you likely know what you are looking for in a juicer. Whether you prefer a centrifugal or a masticating machine, there is an option out there for everyone’s juicing needs. What many people don’t know, however, is what features to look for that indicate the juicer is easy to clean? Let’s find out!
- Fewer Parts: As you saw above, it is important that you separate all of the juicer’s parts when cleaning it out. Needless to say, the fewer parts it has, the easier it will be to clean, and the less time it will take to do so.
- Easy Assembly and Disassembly: Although going for fewer parts is good, you typically won’t find a reputable machine without at least four to five components at a minimum. This is where assembly and disassembly come into play. You don’t want to struggle taking your machine apart and putting it back together. Straightforward and easy to understand directions are key.
- Hard to Reach Places: Another aspect you want to watch out for is juicers that have hard to reach places that are difficult to get clean. More than that, you want to be wary of hidden areas where bacteria can collect. You should be able to see and reach all of the parts of the juicer, even if you have to get to some with a cleaning brush.
- Drip Caps: Don’t discount the features of a juicer that keep the mess to a minimum while the unit is in use. Things like a non-drip cap stop juice from getting all over your machine and counter. What’s more, make sure all other covers fit correctly and don’t allow the juice to splatter throughout the machine.
Conclusion
Cleaning your juicer may be tiresome, but it is an important step in your daily juicing routine. When you are looking to upgrade your model or you are starting your juicing journey, it helps to keep cleaning in mind. We hope our product reviews have helped you single out those necessary features and may even have helped you find the right one.
In our opinion, we like the Mueller Austria SD80A Juicer. Not only is it a great machine, but it’s simple to take apart and wash up for the next round. For the newcomers to juicing, we think you would like the Hamilton Beach 67601A Juicer Machine. With slightly less power than our top pick, it still creates a great beverage with a quick clean-up process afterward.

How to choose a juicer
Is it better to take an electric or manual juicer for the home?
Depends on how much juice you need. In order to squeeze a little orange juice for breakfast or lemon juice for cocktails, manual juice is enough. If your needs are higher, we still recommend choosing electric models, even if they are more expensive. Electric juicers are able to squeeze not only faster, but also better than manual counterparts. Therefore, only they are suitable for blanks. nine0003
Which juicer is better: screw or centrifugal
If you need the best juicer for vegetables, fruits and berries, choose from screw models. They retain more of the useful properties of the products, and are quieter. But at the same time, the pulp is passed through, so if you need a clean fresh juice, you should pay attention to the auger juicer.
Which is the best juicer for apples
The choice depends on your preferences and the amount of juice you drink daily. There are twin screw juicers that produce twice the juice in one cycle. But at the same time, do not forget about the pulp that gets into the drink. Centrifugal is cheaper, but it filters better, although it works more noisily. nine0003
