I took 38/39 for my 39th. A little loose, but 37/38 were small and 39/40 were large. The boots withstood the spring expedition to the abandoned places of the Kirov region and walks through the mud with honor. I did not take them off for 12-14 hours. Legs don't get tired. From evaporation and sweat, the liner got wet, but the feet remained dry. The pad itself dries quickly. The drawstring on the cuff keeps snow and dirt out of the way. I tried to wear it not with an insert, but with a woolen sock - it's not convenient, the boot dangles on the leg, there is no normal fit. The best option for long-term wear - replaceable liners. The only small drawback is that the clay from the white cuff is not immediately washed off, you have to work a little with a brush.
