Luxurious bathroom interior - the best photo ideas for you
Everyone can intuitively understand that they have come into contact with something luxurious when they see a designer bathroom. What elements define it?
Vast space
A spacious bathroom is guaranteed to be gorgeous no matter how it is designed. You can create the illusion of space not only due to the size, but also through minimalism or by placing a bathtub in an open room in front of panoramic windows overlooking the endless ocean.
Beautiful view
As a rule, because of the small area or because of the intimacy, there are no large windows. Therefore, a huge window with a beautiful view is an extraordinary find.
Marble walls
Finishing any room with natural materials always attracts attention and commands respect. Marble is the most noble and monumental coating, giving the interior a regal look, and the combination with onyx - sophistication. But this style is more suitable for traditional mansions.
Unusual combination of finishes
The combination of different materials can be the main feature of an unforgettable bathroom. For example, textured natural stone wallpaper contrasts perfectly with urban chrome details and sparkling elements.
Rich details
Some decorative accents, such as beautifully decorated mirrors, a sculptural chair, antique candlesticks and chandelier, beautiful ornaments on the baseboards and plinth, can give a room a luxurious look, even if it is not particularly spacious or does not have large windows.
Contrasting textures
Textile details make the room very cozy. It is so delightful to first step on the shiny tiles of the floor, and then on the zebra rug, touch the soft, delicate curtains and feel the luxury enveloping the body.
Recessed bathtub
Technically sophisticated designs always make interiors unique. An in-depth bath in front of panoramic windows with a bewitching landscape will help to achieve the desired effect.
Light accent
You can give a special ambiance to the room with the help of the play of light. On the one hand, the general lighting is very bright and cheerful. On the other hand, by means of a more intimate illumination, separate functional areas can be distinguished.
Freestanding bathtub at the center of the composition
The design of the washroom is primarily functional. Therefore, the location of the bath in the center of the room is like a challenge to the utilitarian idea and gives the overall concept of the interior a revolutionary touch.
Artistic wall decoration
The allocation of valuable space in a small area for relief decoration, as well as the illumination of the bath itself, are undoubtedly signs of luxury.
Combined flights
As a rule, the room has either a bath or a shower. But when both components are present and in such an amazing performance, with an unusual combination of natural material and glass, it is difficult to take your eyes off the chic interior.
Roman shower
What about the Roman shower cabin? Inspired by historical motifs in a modern design, such a structure as a kind of ancient alcove. The idea is suitable for any size rooms.
Nature is the muse of the decorator
The unexpected dressing of the bathtub and sink in reptile skin is the most striking example of the use of natural and at the same time luxurious materials, textures and colors.
Dramatic contrasts and designs
Seemingly simple ideas: spectacular lighting, paneled walls, sharp clean lines, its matte black finish. But they allow you to create a room of mood, conducive to intimacy, relaxation and reflection.
Unexpected elements
Everything that is not included in the interior of an ordinary bathroom can make it unique. For example, a ladder, or a wooden tub, or paired bath accessories and products.
Unexpected shapes and materials
The use of a bathtub carved from a giant tree trunk as a central accent will undoubtedly make the whole design of the room exclusive.
Cleverly selected accessories
Accessories often define the general character of an interior idea. A small but chic rug with a soft and pleasant texture, mirrored walls, long and heavy curtains and decorative stones make the overall entourage refined and sophisticated.
Skylights
Skylights can be an interesting feature. They will make the room bright and spacious.
Gorgeous lighting fixtures
Beautiful lighting fixtures make any room look stunning. In an ordinary bathroom, lighting plays a modest, functional role. Therefore, elegant flashlights that attract attention will delight any connoisseur.
Composite color
Variations with color always give a strong visual effect that greatly transforms the overall design and atmosphere. The use of the Wythe Blue shade ennobles the room, emphasizing the dignity and refinement of the taste of the owner of the house.
Designer bathrooms are guaranteed to leave guests with a pleasant impression of the house as a whole and cheer up the hosts. Therefore, it is worth creating for yourself such a corner of bliss in order to literally plunge into luxury.
5 secrets of Gerard Fevre • Interior+Design
Gerard Fevre became famous for the large-scale project Art Homes. Its essence is that Febvre buys housing, restores, modernizes, furnishes, decorates - and puts it up for sale again. Parisian apartments are completely ready for living and equipped down to accessories.
Gerard Febvre Parisian interior designer, head of the Art Homes agency.
"I'm not an architect or decorator, I'm a real estate specialist"
“Bathrooms are key,” Febvre says. - The problem I usually face is the lack of bathrooms - you have to create them, which is not easy from a technical point of view. If we talk about design, here I have one approach: the bathroom is designed as a front room.”
On the walls of the master bathroom, Burlesque wallpaper (Design: C. Benini, Wall & Decò) imitates lace. As conceived by the author, this finish is a homage to the style of Balenciaga and Chantal Thomass. Paul Febvre generously laid out with Italian marble.
Wall lamps are something that no master's project can do without. In this case, he used the Zonca models
The Agape Corian bathtub adds a touch of modern luxury with its clear geometric shape.
Master bedroom. Restrained palette (shades of gray, white black, beige), excellent materials, impeccable cut and detailed details - we certainly have a haute couture space in front of us.
1. Materials and textures “The luxurious level of the apartment is largely achieved through the finishes: for example, the combination of Carrara marble and Corian in the bathroom is very modern in spirit. Crocodile-effect concrete is a great antithesis to more traditional materials. All upholstered furniture that I purchase for the property, I reupholster to my own taste to achieve a sense of integrity of the project.”

The guest bedroom is decorated with Kefia wallpaper by Wall & Decò with houndstooth pattern. Behind a narrow partition at the head is a bathroom.
One of the bathrooms was covered with washable wallpaper Kefia by Wall & Decò with a houndstooth pattern. Washbasins, mirrors Agape. The line of wall cabinets unites two spaces.
2. Fashion inspiration “In my work on Rue Lincoln, I was inspired by the world of Haute Couture, bearing in mind that the nearby Avenue Montaigne with its boutiques is one of the main points of Parisian haute couture. “Lace” on the bathroom walls refers to the work of Balenciaga and Chantal Thomass, gingham and houndstooth upholstery make you think of Chanel and Dior, a photo of the Christian Lacroix studio adorns the dining room wall, and the dressing room is designed as a dressing room of an expensive atelier: with a chic chandelier, mirrors , mannequins.
Bathroom - a joint project of J. Fevre and Boffi. Bisazza mosaics on the walls.
3. Standout “To form a color palette, I do the following. I take some outstanding object (it can be a sofa, a picture, a carpet, a chandelier), which I endow with the role of a starting point, and to it, as to a locomotive, I cling all other solutions. The result is a cohesive, balanced interior.”
The master bathroom is a joint project by J. Febvre with Devon & Devon: a modern interpretation of the Second Empire style.
4. Color and glitter In an apartment on Rue Bonaparte in Paris, Febvre combined Second Empire style with the bohemian chic of a Parisian café. “I wanted this interior to clearly read the time when the building was built. Therefore, he created an environment that refers to the style of the Second Empire. Here there are colors characteristic of that era, they are quite bright: orange, turquoise. The inclusion of gold symbolizes prosperity, wealth, brings a spark and luxury to the environment.

One of the bedrooms. Bed, diz. J.-M. Masso for Poltrona Frau. Satin underwear with Rodrilinea embroidery. Les Ateliers Caffin silk velvet bedspread. The Elitis wallpaper is the work of N. Tarburesh.
5. Mid-century modern Gerard Fevre's interior in Saint-Germain is inspired by the 1950s. In the fifties, the area developed intensively, becoming a breeding ground for intellectual bohemians - writers, artists and musicians, who then gained worldwide fame.
“I like the fantasies and colors of that era - they make you stop and take a breath. In addition, this style is popular today - probably because we are nostalgic for a less gloomy time than the one in which we live today. I don't think it was a challenge to combine the mid century with the architecture of the 19th century. Ottoman buildings remain a prestigious environment that embraces different time layers.”

The author of the project paid tribute to the fashion trend: he decorated the wall with relief tiles.
