James Thomas Fallon Jr. is an American comedian, singer, producer, actor, and talk show host. Fallon has become a household name over the years – with many being first introduced to the comedian during his time working on Saturday Night Live (1998-2004). Following SNL, Fallon starred in several films including Fever Pitch (2005) and The Year of Getting to Know Us (2008) before finally nabbing his role as host of NBC’s late-night talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2009-2014). He would go on to host The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (2014-present) also featured on NBC. Jimmy Fallon has earned quite a nice net worth for his time on television, but have you ever wondered how he spends his money? Velvet Ropes has all the info you need on the Jimmy Fallon house, his family, and his sizable salary below!

Where Does Jimmy Fallon Live?

In 2020, while NYC was being hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, Fallon and fam decided the safest place to stay would be their home in the Hamptons. The home became the Jimmy Fallon home studio where he filmed The Tonight Show. Now that Jimmy has begun filming at his studio on 30 Rock again, however, the family may be headed back to the city here soon!

Jimmy Fallon loves this 10-story apartment building in Gramercy Park so much that he purchased not 1, not 2, but 5 units since first moving there in 2002. He reportedly purchased his first unit at 34 Gramercy Park on the 8th floor for $850,000. In 2004, he snapped up 2 additional units on the 7th floor for $1.5 million. He combined them to make a spacious 3-bedroom unit.

Feeling as though he could use some more space, Fallon and wife Nancy purchased a 4-bedroom unit on the top floor for $1.35 million in 2014, then the studio next door for $725,000. The studio features a skylight as well as 265 square feet of space. At least one of the units is used as the couple’s personal office.  The couple now owns about 1/7th of the entire building.

Given his nightly commitment to us on The Tonight Show, it’s a given that this massive spread is Jimmy Fallons home is where he spends the most time.

In a surprising turn of events, it seems Fallon and fam are ready to offload this incredible property, listing their triplex for $15 million in March 2021. Rumor has it that model, Cara Delevigne, is interested in the residence and is set to buy it in a cheaper, off-market deal, though no further details are known currently.

Jimmy Fallon Hamptons House

Jimmy Fallon purchased this stunning Hamptons mansion back in 2011 for $5.7 million. Built in 1850, the farmhouse-style home sits on 2.2 acres of land and houses more than enough amenities to keep the family busy. The main residence boasts 3,500 square feet as well as 6-bedrooms, 5.5-bathrooms, a home gym, and a 5-car garage.

Google Maps

The Jimmy Fallon home also features 2 guest cottages, an arts and crafts workhouse, a spacious swimming pool, and a barn. Given Fallon’s child-like ways, it should come as no surprise that his home houses some fun, unique features – including an indoor slide in the barn.

The slide was actually Juvonen’s idea and when asked about it she said, “the slide is in an old barn and the only thing I knew that we wanted to do with the barn was put a slide down the middle of it…and it didn’t come out quite as cute as it should have.” Fallon also has a massive game room that features a piano, a drum kit, a vintage popcorn machine, a foosball table, and shelves that are decked out with Disney’s Snow White and her seven dwarves. This is likely a favorite of daughters Winnie and Franny.

Outside, there’s even a trampoline with an attached basketball hoop.

This video from Jimmy Fallon’s YouTube channel is the first night he broadcast from this Hampton’s home. Those kids are too cute!

It appears that Mr. Fallon has requested that his home be blurred from Google Street View. There’s only one problem – Google has blurred only the garage. Oops!

Jimmy Fallon House Lake Winnipesaukee

Rumor has it that Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen own a property somewhere in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee. Property records seem to indicate that it’s actually Juvonen’s parents as well as her brother who own homes in the area.

Whether the couple actually owns a super-secret residence in Wolfeboro or not, the town holds special significance to the pair since it was the site of Fallon’s proposal to Nancy. More on that later.

Jimmy Fallon Family

Jimmy Fallon was born to James W. Fallon and Gloria Fallon. His family is of Irish, Norwegian, and German heritage. In his youth, Jimmy’s father sang in doo-wop groups before going on to serve in the Vietnam War. When Jimmy was born, his dad began working for IBM as a machine repairman.

In addition to Jimmy, the couple also have a daughter – Jimmy’s big sister Gloria Fallon Jr. Both of Fallon’s parents attended his first taping of The Tonight Show in 2014, and both were gleaming with pride as the cameras panned over to them in the audience that night. Sadly, Jimmy’s biggest fan, his mother Gloria, passed away at age 68 in 2017.

Jimmy Fallon Wife

Jimmy Fallon’s wife is producer Nancy Juvonen. Nancy co-founded the production company “Flower Films” alongside longtime friend Drew Barrymore back in 1995.

The company has acted as a backer to many of Barrymore’s most memorable films, including Charlie’s Angeles (2000), 50 First Dates (2004), Fever Pitch (2005), and most recently Barrymore’s self-titled talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.

In addition to Juvonen’s work behind the scenes, she has also made brief appearances in the films Donnie Darko (2001) and Down to the Bone (2004).

Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen first crossed paths in 2004 while friend Drew Barrymore was guest-hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live. Fallon, who was still a full-time cast member at the time, was incredibly hospitable to Juvonen on set while Barrymore was filming.

Despite a pleasant experience with Fallon on the set of SNL, sparks wouldn’t fly until the two reunited for the filming of Fever Pitch, a romantic comedy starring Barrymore opposite Fallon. During filming, Jimmy Fallon apparently became entranced by Juvonen’s ability to glow even on gloomy days, and Juvonen loved how great Jimmy was with one of the other producer’s children on set.

The two soon struck up a relationship and by 2007 Fallon was already planning to pop the question. He had originally planned to propose to Juvonen at a swanky Manhattan restaurant the couple had reserved for dinner. Concerns that the site of the proposal would one day be turned into a “laser tag place”, however, Fallon decided to postpone his plans.

Instead, Fallon ended up proposing a few months later at Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire – where Juvonen owned a summer home. The couple tied the knot in December of that year on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Caribbean.

Jimmy Fallon Kids

Jimmy and Nancy tried for around 5 years to have children before deciding to go with a surrogate to make their dreams of having kids a reality. Using a surrogate, they gave birth to 2 adorable daughters – Winnie Rose in 2013 (her name partially inspired by the lake Jimmy proposed to Nancy on), and Frances Cole in 2014.

Jimmy Fallon Net Worth

As of 2020, Jimmy Fallon had reportedly amassed a net worth of $60 million.

Jimmy Fallon Salary

In addition to what he makes from his books, Fallon earns an annual salary of $16 million from hosting The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon's house is on the market for $15 million

Jimmy Fallon’s house in New York City has been put on the market for $15 million. Located in Gramercy Park, one of the most enviable neighborhoods in New York City, the three-floor penthouse is akin to walking into a beautiful antique store.

The comedian and late-night television host originally invested in a one-bedroom bachelor pad in the famous 34 Gramercy Park East in 2002. Over the ensuing decades, alongside his movie-producer wife Nancy Juvonen, Jimmy Fallon invested in four neighboring apartments to create the stunning 4,950 square foot home.

The result was an incredible home, unlike anything else in New York City. Six bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are spread across the three-floor penthouse.

Despite the extensive renovation, the home celebrates the architecture of the famous white-glove cooperative. Many of the building's original features have been restored, including the original hardwood floors and window frames.

The entry to the home is on the seventh floor via a beautiful foyer. The foyer leads into a living room filled with bold color combinations such as lime green and turquoise.

The walls are clad in a rare vintage wallpaper from the 1940s and wood paneling designed by Bednark. A custom-made turquoise sofa wraps around the entire room making this the perfect spot for gathering to watch movies on the room's in-ceiling projector.

(Image credit: Evan Joseph for Sotheby’s International Realty)

The kitchen is definitely the heart of this home, offering incredible views over Gramercy Park. The room includes a dining area for six, but also a breakfast bar that seats eight for more intimate gatherings.

Like many of the other rooms in Jimmy Fallon's home, vintage pieces have been mixed with modern features. The gas fireplace has been restored with an original mantel set and vintage tiles. However, the kitchen is fully fitted with state-of-the-art home appliances and custom-made cabinetry.

One of the biggest show-stoppers in this home is the walk-in pantry. If you are looking for pantry ideas, this amazing set up including circular shelves and kitsch wallpaper is bursting with inspiration.

It has adopted The Home Edit 'supermarket' organized look but taken it a step further. The rustic shelving and a price chalkboard make it look like you're stepping into a small-town store.

(Image credit: Evan Joseph for Sotheby’s International Realty)

Perched on the eighth floor is the 'Saloon Room' this rustic room is perfect for entertaining. The room teeters on poor taste with dark wood fittings and plaid wallpaper, however, somehow it works.

(Image credit: Evan Joseph for Sotheby’s International Realty)

The room includes a vintage barback with custom inlaid stained glass. It provides the perfect backdrop to the fully equipped wet bar. We can just imagine grabbing a whiskey from the bar before retiring to one of the plush chairs around the stone hearth.

(Image credit: Evan Joseph for Sotheby’s International Realty)

The master room is located on the top floor. It is a peaceful retreat decorated in crisp whites and wood finishes. The room is bathed in light thanks to the newly installed skylight, allowing the bright white walls to really sing.

The suite includes its own fireplace, a wet bar with a refrigerator, and a custom built-in massage bed. We would have been satisfied just to have a spacious seating area in our bedroom, but this suite ticks all the boxes we never knew we wanted.

The property is currently listed with Jeremy Stein and Debbie Korb of Sotheby’s International Realty – Downtown Manhattan Brokerage.

Jimmy Fallon isn't the only celebrity to grace the corridors of 34 Gramercy Park East. The white-glove cooperative has been home to James Cagney and Margaret Hamilton, the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of OZ. We wonder who will be the next person to buy into the rich history of this property.

It is not clear where Jimmy Fallon will be moving to next. However, the star also owns a home in Sagaponack, N.Y that he bought in 2011. The 1850s house includes two guest cottages and a barn, so the Fallon family won't be short of space after leaving their Gramercy Park penthouse.

Biography

Jimmy
Fallon

TV presenter, Comedian, Actor

American Urgant, entertainer, family man and host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon has been one of the central figures of American prime time for many years. After trying a million different entertainment formats, in 2014 Jimmy finally made it to the evening show segment - a place where his comedic talent, the ability to fool around on camera, sing songs and get to the bottom of people combine. Since then, he hosts The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, interviews Hollywood celebrities and lives his best life.

Jimmy was born on one of the outskirts of New York. His father was a Vietnam War veteran who spent a long time singing on the streets of Brooklyn before joining the multinational company IBM. To do this, the family had to move to another, remote part of New York. Fallon describes his childhood as "almost idyllic": he grew up with his sister Gloria in a big house, climbed trees and played in the backyard. Parents, on the other hand, practiced hyper-custody with might and main: for example, they did not allow children to go outside the site. As a child, Jimmy attended a Catholic school. And when he grew up, he decided to become a priest - and almost did. He changed his mind only when, according to the precepts of Olga Buzova, he discovered the world of other women for himself: the too poor guy wanted to go on dates. In high school, Jimmy became addicted to comedy with might and main, spending days and nights watching popular TV shows at the time. Fallon especially adored Saturday Night Live - then he could not have imagined that in just six years he himself would be among the actors of the project he loved so much.

In 1992, Jimmy graduated from high school and went to university. Things were not going well with the guy’s studies: he preferred playing the guitar in the company of friends to lectures, and stand-up performances on open microphones to exams and tests. Ultimately, Fallon dropped out of high school altogether, heading to Los Angeles to achieve the coveted success in the comedy field. There, Jimmy got his first agent, began to practice stand-up comedy, briefly appeared on various kinds of TV shows and tried by all means to break into the coveted SNL. And he did it: he stayed on the show from 1998 to 2004, instantly became the main sex symbol of the project and acquired a gigantic fan base, consisting of all women in the United States. Google his young photos and you will understand everything.

Success surrounded Jimmy from all sides. He became the host of the 2001 MTV Movie Awards and the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, released the book I Hate This Place: A Pessimist's Guide to Life and the comedy album The Bathroom Wall (which, by the way, was even nominated for a Grammy), entered the list of the 50 most beautiful people on the planet and even starred for Calvin Klein. They did not undress him for the campaign, on the contrary, they dressed him in several sweaters at once. It's a shame, don't say anything. Since 2004, Jimmy tried to act in a big movie. His first works, "New York Taxi", "Baseball Fever", received such devastating reviews that the poor fellow was upset and left for the outskirts of New York, where he was depressed and drank alcohol for a couple of years.

Jimmy returned to television only in 2009, when he received an invitation to host an evening show. The audience, negatively minded after his disastrous film debut, spat poison and predicted another cringe, but Fallon outplayed and destroyed all the indignant ones. The show collected excellent ratings and proved that Jimmy still has more than enough gunpowder in the powder flasks. He was noticed again: he was called the host of the 62nd Emmy Awards, he was awarded a Grammy for his second comedy album, Blow Your Pants Off, for the cover of which Fallon posed with a bare ass. He even starred in films again, but this time in the role of himself. In 2014, Jimmy moved from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he continues to work to this day. There he fills Morgan Freeman with helium balloons, dances with Michelle Obama, makes Daniel Radcliffe react to Harry Potter memes and cosplays Valery Leontiev.

Jimmy is a deeply family man. In 2007, he married producer Nancy Juvonen, whom he met on the set of Saturday Night Live. Their daughters Winnie and Frances, born by a surrogate mother, are growing up. Fallon enjoys being a father so much that in 2020 he released a limited collection of baby pacifiers in the form of penguins and cows.

Who is Jimmy Fallon?

Late night host and comedian Jimmy Fallon was born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York. Fallon first started doing comedy in high school before dropping out of college to pursue his comedy career. At 19In '98, Fallon landed his dream job by joining the cast of Saturday Night Live. A subsequent attempt at a career on the big screen faltered, but the comedian found success as host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon starting in 2009. He made his debut as the new host of Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on February 17, 2014.

Jimmy Fallon

Early life

Comedian and actor James Thomas Fallon Jr. was born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York. He's been a Saturday Night Live enthusiast since he was a kid, and the caption for his photo in his 8th grade yearbook read, "Most likely to replace David Letterman." He attended St. Rose College in Albany and then dropped out of college in Los Angeles, California.

Saturday Night Live

In the late 1990s, Fallon returned to New York and pursued a lifelong dream. He had the opportunity to audition for his favorite show, Saturday Night Live. Meeting co-creator and producer Lorne Michaels Fallon won him over with the Adam Sandler experience. He joined the cast for the 1998-1999 season, which also included Will Ferrell, Tracey Morgan and Molly Shannon.

During his time on the show, Fallon became known for his experiences. It has taken on such famous names as Robert De Niro, John Lennon, Chris Rock and Mick Jagger. As for the original characters, Fallon brought to life a diverse mix of personalities. There was a snotty department store clerk, a boy band member and a surly Boston teenager, among others. Fallon also co-starred with Tina Fey on the regular Weekend Update news feature. The duo has established itself as a popular pairing with fans of the show.

Movies

Fallon co-hosted the 2001 MTV Movie Awards with Kirsten Dunst and hosted the 2002 MTV Music Awards. In 2004, he announced in the "Weekend Update" section that he was leaving the show. He then attempted to move into feature films with mixed results. This year, Fallon teamed up with Queen Latifah for the crime comedy Taxi, which turned out to be a commercial and critical hoax. He co-starred with Drew Barrymore in the 2005 baseball-themed romantic comedy Fever. In 2006, Fallon showed a more dramatic side in Factory Girl. The film stars Guy Pearce as artist Andy Warhol and Sienna Miller as his muse Edie Sedgwick. Fallon played promoter Chuck Wayne.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

In 2008, Fallon landed a challenging, high-profile role. NBC has announced that the teen comedian will take over Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show next year. He was under a lot of pressure when his show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon first aired in March 2009. His first guests were Robert De Niro and Justin Timberlake.

While he initially received mixed reviews, Fallon eventually became a popular late night host. His boyish charm, whimsical parodies and gimmicks won the audience over. In addition to interviews and monologues, Fallon has performed with comedic subjects, including playing games with guests and filming humorous videos.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

In April 2013, it was announced that he would become the new host of The Tonight Show after Jay Leno's contract expired. The show moved their recording sessions from Los Angeles to New York when Fallon took over his new position. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon debuted on February 17, 2014. I just want to do my best, he said. And take care of the show a little.

Backed by hip-hop group The Roots and backed by fan-favorite segments like "Slow Jam the News" and "Thank You Notes," Fallon routinely won competition with Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel during his early years on The Tonight Show. However, as the rhetoric of the 24/7 news cycle became more polarized, Fallon lost ground in the ratings to late-night colleague Stephen Colbert, who has not been shy about criticizing President Donald Trump's actions.

The situation was highlighted by then-candidate Trump's appearance on The Tonight Show in September 2016, when Fallon playfully ruined his guest's hair. While the interaction was hardly unusual for a host known for being a nice guy, he attracted warmth for the "humanization" of the Candidate, who had already offended many with his comments.

In June 2018, after Fallon expressed regret about how he handled an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Trump told him to "be a man" on Twitter.
