Spa treatments at home - yourchoice.
ruSpa treatments have become very popular not only among women, but also among men and married couples. Spa treatments can be considered not only a way of taking care of the body, but also a good rest, pastime.
Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to regularly visit cosmetologists and spas for their favorite procedures.
However, even your bathroom can be turned into a full-fledged spa with the same soft music, unobtrusive interior elements and most of the existing beauty treatments. Organizing a home spa right in the bathroom is much easier than it might seem at first glance.
How to organize a spa in the bathroom
Before thinking about the beauty and spa treatments that you will indulge in your own bathroom, it is important to equip the bath in a way that is not expensive, and the result is as close to spa as possible. salons.
- Use a bath instead of a shower. Unfortunately, in the shower cabin it will be extremely difficult to carry out many spa treatments. In addition, the main objectives of your spa in the bathroom - comfort, rest and relaxation. In the shower you simply can not relax to the fullest. Only a bath will do.
- Towel baskets. An inexpensive accessory that is often used in luxury hotels and good spas. Towel baskets immediately bring a touch of relaxation and tranquility to the bathroom interior, which will please you from an aesthetic point of view.
- Containers and baskets for storing cosmetics. Most often, all body care products are placed right along the walls of the bath itself and unoccupied shelves. To create an interior for your home spa, it would be useful to use baskets or other containers for separate storage of cosmetics: separately for hair, separately for body, etc.
- Flowers in the bathroom are an element of the interior of good spas. However, using fresh flowers is extremely impractical. Due to high humidity and temperature changes, they will only last a day or two. You can put either decorative artificial flowers or special dry bouquets, although they will not be able to please you for a long time because of the humidity in the bathroom.
These simple items can make a big difference in your bathroom and set it in the right mood for your relaxation.
Home spa ideas
Home spa ideas are plentiful. All of them ultimately come down to the use of one or more elements from a common set of tools that are generally possible to use in this case. At the spa, for example, employees will give you a massage or simply apply the ingredients for a body wrap on your body, which will be extremely difficult for you to do on your own. Therefore, ideas for spa treatments at home should be simple and feasible.
For example, the use of bath salts. Various types of salt added to the bath can have a particular cosmetic effect and effect on your body. For example, using Epsom salts will not only relax you, but also improve blood circulation, which can help fight cellulite, for example. We also recommend that you purchase Himalayan and classic sea salts to use on different days for different situations or as mixtures.
In addition, many girls who have been practicing spa treatments in the bathroom for a long time recommend stocking up on sets of dried herbs and flowers. Rose petals in the bathroom can create a nice relaxing atmosphere and aroma. Lavender will improve the condition of your skin and help you relax. There are dozens of herbs that can be used for home spa treatments.
Recently, many girls have started using bombs to organize a spa in their bathroom. Such bombs have a soda base and begin to dissolve upon contact with water. However, pay attention to the composition of the bombs: it should not contain any synthetic-based flavors - only natural essential oils. Otherwise, there will be no cosmetic effect.
The bathroom is also ideal for various scrubs. There are dozens of types of scrubs. You can either buy a scrub in the store (pay attention to the composition), or make it yourself. To do this, it is enough to take coffee or bath salts as a basis, add, for example, essential oils, coconut flakes or honey. Scrubs will help you feel as rested and clean after a home spa as after going to a spa. Scrubs promote rejuvenation, as they exfoliate dead cells on the surface of the skin and promote the regeneration of new cells.
It would be useful to get a variety of masks for hair and facial skin. In spa salons, the application of masks is actively practiced so that girls not only relax their bodies and souls, but also get a real cosmetic effect from the procedures.
Body wrap is another treatment that can be done in your home spa. Difficulties can arise only when applying ingredients to the surface of the back, but otherwise everything will be the same as in the salon. Body wraps are the backbone of most spa treatments and often come at a high cost. However, at the same time, the cost of the ingredients that can be used for wrapping is low, you can afford body wraps at home at least every day.
To create the right atmosphere for your complete relaxation, you should use natural fragrances: candles, incense, essential oils for baths. This is an optional element of your home spa treatments, but pleasant and beloved aromas will help you tune in the right way and immerse yourself in a meditative state of complete relaxation.
Home Spa Tips
There are a number of tips to help you take your spa experience to the next level. Quality is in the details. We will talk about such trifles further.
If you really love yourself, your body, love to relax and enjoy every moment of life, you should consider purchasing a hot tub. A hot tub is a fully functional spa within your bathroom. The cost of such baths is higher than usual, but this gap is more than offset by the sensations, impressions and emotions that you will receive.
Whirlpool baths of various brands and brands can not only improve the quality of your spa treatments due to the effect of water jets on the nerve endings and improve blood circulation, but also replace you with a salon massage, which will be available to you 24/7.
A hot tub isn't a small thing, but it can help elevate your spa experience at home. And one of the little things that can be introduced today are diffusers for essential oils.
Classical diffusers of this kind diffuse chemical fragrances that absorb unpleasant odours. For essential oils, special diffusers are used, which will take the headache out of organizing the atmosphere for your home spa. In addition, essential oils not only smell pleasant, but due to their natural base, they can have a subtle therapeutic effect on the body.
Music. Another attribute of a good spa, which many girls do not take into account when organizing spa treatments in their bathroom. There is a huge selection of music players on the market today. You can use your own smartphone, you can bring speakers into the bathroom to create 3D sound and immersion, you can use a portable music speaker or smart speaker.
Take care of the liquids in advance. During cosmetic procedures, such as body wraps, we lose a fairly large amount of water. Water reserves in the body must be replenished in a timely manner.
It is better to leave various drinks (tea, water, your favorite juice) right in the bathroom, so that if you feel thirsty, you do not have to get out of the warm and cozy bath into the cold rooms of the corridors and the kitchen.
Consider the play of light. To create a complete relaxing atmosphere, it is important to consider not only interior items, music and aroma in the bathroom, but also light. At spas, the lights are often subdued and unobtrusive. It is unlikely that it will be possible to create the same conditions using the main bathroom light. It is better to turn off the main light during the procedures. You can light candles: live fire will help create subtle magic in the room. It is said that candle fire will help you enter the deepest meditative state. If so, your spa session will be even more relaxing and quality.
Some girls create an unusual atmosphere in the bathroom using garlands. There are a huge number of types of battery-powered garlands, you can take them with you, including in the bathroom. This is exactly what you need: unobtrusive light of garlands, but at the same time sufficient lighting. In combination with candles, you can create a fantastic atmosphere for your home spa.
The "dessert" of your spa treatments should be as soft and gentle as the treatments themselves. Soft slippers and a terry bathrobe, as in expensive hotels and good spas, will help you with this.
In addition, with such a dressing gown you will not be so difficult and too lazy to leave a warm bath.
Following a number of recommendations and using the above ideas for home spa treatments right in the bathroom will help you independently organize a worthy replacement for classic spa centers and enjoy and cosmetic value from the procedures at least every day.
5 ideas to turn your bathroom into a spa
Everyone needs to slow down, listen to themselves, relax and put their thoughts in order from time to time. Spas are the best for this purpose. But what if you do not want to spend time and money on a trip? Of course, create a soothing environment in your own bathroom.
How easy it is to turn even a small bathroom into a spa.

1. Nothing extra
Visual appeal is one of the key elements. Any disorder causes stress. In most spas, the space is fairly minimalist, and toiletries are kept neat and organized in closed cabinets or drawers.
In a small bathroom, it is better to get rid of everything unnecessary and make room in the cabinet for the essentials. Storage on open shelves should be organized by folding toiletries into beautiful containers.

2. Unity with nature
Natural colors have a calming effect. If the bathroom area is small, choose light shades of beige, light gray or pale green. The room will not only become more comfortable, but also visually increase.
Photo: behance.net
Add decorations and accessories made from natural materials, and lay tiles with imitation wood texture on the floor. And do not forget to provide floor heating in those places where you are going to walk barefoot.
Decorate your space with indoor flowers. This is a great way to warm up the atmosphere. Try to choose plants suitable for damp rooms with insufficient lighting: fern, ivy, aloe, dieffenbachia, bamboo. Orchids or begonias can be placed in a bathroom with a window. Put the plants in beautiful pots, hang them and arrange them so that they do not clutter up the space.

3. Cozy lighting
In addition to the basic lighting needed for morning routines, add dimmer-controlled ceiling or wall lights. A dimmer will help soften the light, and soaking in a relaxing bath will be much more pleasant. For evening lighting, it is better to use lamps with a warm, almost orange light.
Photo: deavita.fr
Complete the atmosphere with pleasant relaxing music. If you have a dedicated waterproof speaker, put it to good use.
4. Well-thought-out ergonomics
When you start your bathroom, try to think through all the important details: the installation of a heated towel rail, the size and shape of the mirror, the location of sockets and shelves that you can reach with your hand without getting out of the bath. This will make your impromptu home spa experience much more enjoyable.
Photo: pinterest.com
If a free-standing bathtub is not possible, a model with wide sides will do. You can place candles, drinks or gadgets on them. But balancing things on the edge of the bath is dangerous - they can fall into the water. The ideal option is to complement the interior with a special tray that will look equally good on both freestanding and built-in baths.
5. Homemade Elixirs
There is nothing more relaxing than adding scented salt to a hot bath. Why not try creating your own skin care products?
Mix 4 parts salt with 1 part baking soda, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
