Why does the message “NO PAN” appear on the display?

      • When the toaster is in the "Oven" position, the supplied tray must be inserted to start. Other accessories not listed by Ninja (R) are not compatible with this toaster.
      • Make sure the tray is fully inserted into the oven. The front of the pan should be adjacent to the front walls that surround the chamber.

Can I watch food while the appliance is cooking?

      • Yes, when the appliance is in a horizontal position, you can remove the tray at any time to check your food. Cooking time will be paused until you insert the tray again. Automatic shutdown will occur after the tray has been removed for 10 minutes.
      • When the appliance is in a vertical position, you can raise the toasting lever at any time to check the cooking process without canceling the toasting.

Can I reset the device to default settings?

      • The device will remember the last setting used for each function, even if you unplug it. To restore the device's default settings for each function, press and hold the two SHADE buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Why do the heating elements seem to turn on and off?

      • This is normal. The device is designed to accurately control the temperature for each function by adjusting the power levels of the heating elements.
