The RMNT website showed you what a cozy corner for spending time with a book in the interior can look like. Indeed, where else could he be, if not in the house, next to the library. But don't you really want to read outside in the summer, under a cool breeze? We will show you where and how you can do it.

Actually, you can not equip anything at all. Just a blanket under a tree, in the shade, on the lawn. And that's it, you can get comfortable enough to relax with a book, listening to the rustle of leaves above your head.

Children who read books rather than play on their smartphones are sadly becoming a rare sight. So that they read more during the holidays, you can equip such a cozy corner on the flooring in the yard. Books are carried in a basket, there is lighting, soft pillows - everything for the comfort of readers.

These parents obviously put a lot of effort into making an entire outdoor library look more like a lawn in the woods.

Inflatable chairs very light, they can be easily moved around the site to choose a beautiful place where it will be nice to settle down with a book in hand.

A classic in all its splendor — a mansion with white columns and roomy sofa swing on the porch. There is simply no better place to read on a warm summer day.

About how friendly a porch would look if you put a rocking chair , the Rmnt.ru portal has already told you and given examples. This piece of garden furniture is great for outdoor reading.

Pallets - versatile material for DIY projects. How do you like such a remote children's library from a painted pallet?

One of the advantages of an outdoor reading nook is that it requires a minimum of space. After all, this is not a dining table for a large company; a floor with a soft mattress somewhere in the backyard will be enough.

Read in hammock , by the way, is also quite convenient, especially since the choice of models is large. There are also hanging chairs for a comfortable pastime.

A sun lounger or lounger by the pool is another great place to spend time reading, because just sunbathing can be boring.

It is not so important where exactly you and your children settled down with a book on the street. The main thing is that you read in general, spend time with benefit and pleasure.

How to create a reading nook when there is no room for it at all

In the photos, my room looked like a Pinterest picture. White and pink furniture, a work area with a cork board, a shelf with flowers and lanterns above the bed.

But one of the corners was occupied by a bicycle.

Actually, it's okay! If you press close, so that the steering wheel bites a little under the shoulder blades, then from this angle it was possible to successfully photograph the rest of the beauty. Blog readers might never see that one of the corners of the coral room is actually occupied by a green touring bike.

One no. It is this part of the room that is the main point where I look when I sit in bed. Here I wake up, stretching under a snow-white blanket, serene morning light pours through the windows, right in the pictures that our imagination draws when at some training they ask “how do you imagine your perfect day?”.

Yes, yes, I did it all.

Sipping like in a coffee commercial, sitting up in bed and BOOM! — my gaze rested on the green bicycle in the corner.

Now imagine in fast forward many, many such beginnings of the day. Just like in the movie Groundhog Day. Sometimes it's cloudy outside, I live in St. Petersburg. Sometimes I woke up from the ringing of the tenth time rearranged alarm clock. Sometimes I jumped up with crazy eyes and a trace of a pillow, because I was still able to rearrange the alarm clock in a half-drowsy so that it would no longer ring.

This is how I saw my reading nook for the first time and decided that it would be a great project for autumn and winter, when a bicycle is definitely not needed, but a place where you can comfortably climb with a book is necessary.

As in many stories with repairs that cannot be stopped, but can only be stopped, this story stretched out in time.

I started by thinking about the idea - sounds cool, yes, it actually means that I spent several wonderful evenings revisiting pictures on Pinterest without any pangs of conscience. I met with Olya, who has her own steel decor shop Steel Alive. She consults on interior design for large projects and helps to draw up a design project. Of course, I didn’t have a very big project, but Olya agreed to help. We met for a cup of tea with interior magazines, photographs and drew diagrams on paper.

Then I ordered all the "spare parts" of the project and waited for them to come together.

A pouffe of bright yolk color reached me from Novosibirsk. I was worried. Is it worth ordering it from so far away, will it be lost on the way, this delivery can never be trusted - such thoughts were spinning in my head. But our country is not so huge, I had a pouf in just a few days and they brought it to my front door.

Eames chair came from a warehouse from Stavropol. I promised to write if it would be comfortable. It is very, very comfortable, despite the fact that it is plastic.

Author's posters and pillows were coming from Moscow. I simply picked up the package and the tube at my post office, and then picked up the appropriate frames. In fact, you can order there with frames, but it seems to me that there is some kind of magic in choosing frames for posters and paintings.

Steel shelves were made to order, painted yellow especially for my room. They are usually made in mint, white and black.

The lamp that I picked up on the site was not available, I shamelessly saved money and bought the cheapest one and am satisfied.

A man proudly called "a husband for an hour" laid out his tools on the floor, knocked on the walls, and in less than an hour drilled nine holes, hung everything up and left, leaving a pile of sawdust on the floor.

I looked around my corner and realized that two posters were hanging a bit crooked. Not symmetrical! The left side of my brain went into panic mode. The right, without thinking for a long time, came up with the idea of hanging a dream catcher made with their own hands there.

Even in the already finished project, I realized that I really miss some kind of even the smallest coffee table to put a cup of cocoa on it and put a book open on the last page.
