Country style - the embodiment of tranquility, comfort and naturalness in the interior. In the article I will consider its features, what mistakes are made during creation. I will provide unique design ideas. I'll tell you about the combination of colors, decor, furniture and materials that will harmoniously fit into the creation of such a living room (hall) or kitchen-living room.

Features of country style in the interior of the living room

Country has many branches with a bias towards a certain nationality. But frosted walls, a fireplace with a wood finish, a sideboard with colorful dishes on display are a clear sign of a rustic-style home. At the peak of popularity, its distinctive features were formed in the form of:

Rustic furniture made of metal is allowed, but under certain conditions. Furniture should be wrought iron, copper, iron or brass. There should be no reflective and shiny objects.

Lighting should create a relaxing atmosphere. It is necessary to exclude neon lamps, and purchase a lamp with low heat dissipation or fluorescent light bulbs. A forged brass chandelier with swirls is suitable as a central light source. If there is no fireplace, candles with candlesticks will replace it.

A fireplace is a great solution for a rustic-style room.
