1. Deshoulieres Teacup & Saucer
Savor one of the most enjoyable moments of the day by drinking your coffee or tea out of something that looks as beautiful as it is practical.

2. Olivia Palermo Collection Silky Separates
These silhouettes were designed to make you feel and look your best. I’ve found that dressing for myself each day, with items that boost my confidence, increases my productivity.

3. Giannico Mules
Slip into a little glamour by dressing up your feet, too. There's joy in wearing sparkling, jewel adorned shoes, and you can still do so by swapping out heels for comfortable mules.

3. Hair Accessories
Keep up your concentration by keeping your hair fashionably pulled back, whether that's with barrettes, a thin scarf, or headbands.

4. Izaak Azanei Cardigan
Colorful knits can brighten up your day (especially in a pretty pink!) and are a great alternative to switch up your pajamas.

5. Diptyque Baies Room Spray
Fill your space with a favorite fragrance that'll keep your mind active. I'll be trying to bring the scent of spring indoors with my go-to spray or candles from Diptyque.

6. Aerin Coaster and Pencil Holders
Prepare for any day by keeping your desk and workspace organized. Subtle touches of metallic make the atmosphere of my home office feel special.

7. Smythson Cosmic Agenda
I not only use a journal to keep track of my daily to-do lists but lately, I also jot down positive thoughts and the things I'm grateful for.

9. IPad Pro
I'd be lost without my IPad for work and personal use, and I'm hoping to test out the newly launched version soon. It acts as a laptop but has ample portability and amazing camera quality, which is a major plus.

Olivia Palermo: Style & Substance

How and where did you spend the majority of your lockdown?

I’ve mostly been at home in New York City with my husband and 16-year-old Maltese dog, Mr. Butler (who loves having his parents home everyday for the first time, well, ever!). Professionally, I have been incredibly focused throughout lockdown on the launch of my beauty brand, Olivia Palermo Beauty. During our nightly downtime and on weekends, though, we have really been enjoying so many different kinds of documentaries. I love when I feel like I am learning something while also being entertained. We’re both fully obsessed with Formula1 on Netflix and are currently binge-watching the newest season. There is nothing quite like watching an adrenaline-filled race on our LG SIGNATURE OLED 8K TV—it really gives us the most amazing viewing experience. My other current obsession is Downton Abbey—I’m obsessed with the period costumes!

How has lockdown affected your personal style?

I love that people are focusing more and more on wellness and beauty that makes them feel good about themselves, especially during difficult times. Self-care is so, so important, not just for aesthetic reasons, but for your emotional and mental health too. My lockdown outfits included a lot of cashmere sets for a cosy but chic look and, of course, always a few diamonds or an elegant timepiece for a pop of glamour—my Piaget watches help keep me on time for Zoom meetings! It was all about comfort and casual chic, so easy-to-slip-on mules have been my footwear of choice for around the house and menswear-inspired flats for walks with Mr. Butler.

What helped make your lockdown more bearable?

It was definitely a time to reflect on our lives and the things that are important to us. I really enjoyed spending more time with Mr. Butler, as in normal times I travel so much. Work has still been incredibly busy though as launching a new beauty brand is very demanding when you’re as particular as I am about everything from the efficacy of the products to the packaging. I’ve really learnt how critical it is to take that time for yourself, however, whether it’s practising a little self-care with a manicure or having a glass of wine while watching your favourite programme. A typical evening of pampering for me at home right now is a nice, long shower and ordering in some delicious sushi before sitting down to watch a movie or series. And once we’re back out in the world, I’m looking forward to treating myself to a great massage followed by a steam and sauna at the spa at the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz.

What have you been working on in the last year?

My most exciting project has been bringing Olivia Palermo Beauty to life. It’s been in the works since the fall of 2018 and is finally ready to be shared with the world! Later this month, I also have a super chic collaboration coming out with candle company Sicily Hill, which I worked with on developing a fabulous home fragrance. I am so fortunate that I started working with LG SIGNATURE early last year, as the convenience of the technology in their products has allowed me to spend less time fidgeting with appliances and more time focusing on building my brand. I am very happy to be continuing our partnership into 2021. I’ve also continued to enjoy working with emerging brands and up-and-coming talent across industries whether it’s fashion, beauty, tech, or interiors. And continuing to find ways to support Dress for Success in these difficult times has been another passion of mine. It’s been very challenging but we had some great successes towards the end of last year that I hope we can continue.

What are you most looking forward to once we start returning to normality?

Travelling to Europe to see my friends. I miss them so much and while we do keep in touch via the multiple means of communication we have available to us (and playing a little MarioKart!), it’s just not the same as spending quality time in-person. We’re all healthy and safe, though, so I am looking at the positives until we can be reunited.

Olivia Palermo - photo, biography, personal life, news, Instagram 2022

American Olivia Palermo began her journey to fame by participating in a reality show. Having won the love of the public, the girl proved herself as a model and designer and became an integral part of the secular party. Olivia broadcasts her lifestyle to her millions of social media followers and serves as a style icon and role model for them.

Childhood and youth

Olivia was lucky to be born into a wealthy family in Manhattan, New York. Her birthday is 28 February 1986 years old. The girl inherited her Italian surname from her father, businessman Douglas, who works in the construction industry. The girl's mother's name is Lynn, the woman is a designer by profession. The childhood of the future model passed between New York and Connecticut.

After graduating from the prestigious private school of St. Luke, the graduate went to Paris, where she studied at the American University of Paris. She continued her studies at The New School, a private non-profit university located in Greenwich Village. The century-old university specializes in culture, arts and social sciences.

When Olivia was 22 years old, she was cast on The City - a popular American television show. Since then, fame has come to the girl, and she opened a new page in her biography.

Fashion and TV projects

The City is a reality show that aired on MTV from December 2008 to July 2010. The project was dedicated to young New Yorkers and talked about their personal lives and professional successes. Olivia became one of the main characters, competing with Whitney Port. The show had average ratings and was often reproached for having scripted and directed storylines.

Nevertheless, for Olivia, the project served as a start to the world of show business. According to the plot, the girl worked for fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, and then moved to Elle magazine. And although Palermo had to show more acting skills than design professionalism, the talent agency Wilhelmina International invited her to launch her own brand in 2009.

At the same time Olivia starts her modeling career and appears on the covers of glossy magazines. A pretty girl exudes naturalness and innocent charm, so she suits the image of “her girl”, dressed in street style. In 2010, Palermo shows the autumn-winter collections of Mango and Hogan, along with her future husband Johannes Huebl.

Olivia has been running her own business since 2011. A staff of professionals is working on her site dedicated to fashion, style and beauty. It becomes an authoritative platform with which eminent brands willingly cooperate. Advertising revenue made the girl a successful and independent business woman, and now millions will learn from her how to choose clothes and hairstyle, what haircuts are in fashion and what makeup to put on before going to a party.

Successful and recognizable Palermo becomes a welcome guest on television. She was invited in 2011 as an expert and judge in the long-running TV show Project Runway. Here, aspiring designers compete with each other in creating clothes, and the jury excludes the least successful on a weekly basis. Olivia flashed at 9th season of the project. As a guest star, she appeared on the British and Irish versions of the show "Top Model", where she also played the role of a judge.

During these years, the girl develops her own recognizable style, which combines classics and freedom. Pretentiousness, loudness, brightness - this is not about Olivia Palermo. The combination of solid basics with accent details and expensive accessories help her create fresh looks for all time.

Many designers invite style icons to cooperate. What Palermo did not create in collaboration with eminent fashion designers. There are shoes and sunglasses, jewelry and bags, clothes and nail polish. Olivia's partners include Banana Republic, Meli Melo, Aquazzura, Carrera y Carrera and other brands. In 2017, Banana Republic announced the celebrity as the company's ambassador.

Personal life

Olivia Palermo started dating her future husband in 2008, during the time of the reality show The City. They met through mutual friends, the guy turned out to be a colleague on the podium. Johannes Huebl moved to New York from Germany and made a brilliant career in America as a model and designer. The man is 2 years older than the chosen one.

The love story found a logical continuation in 2014: in June, the couple got married. The stylish newlyweds appeared in white outfits, and Olivia chose to wear a Carolina Herrera gauze layered skirt instead of a traditional dress, complementing the bottom with a chastely closed long-sleeve top. The bride collected her hair in a deliberately careless ponytail, while looking fresh and elegant on her main day.

Bedford was chosen for a quiet celebration and only relatives and a couple of friends were invited there. Now the family lives in Brooklyn, New York and has no plans to have children yet.

Olivia Palermo now

Olivia continues to run oliviapalermo.com, a site that generates high revenue thanks to a steady stream of advertisers. The blog on Instagram is also popular, and the number of subscribers promises to exceed 6 million in 2019.

Most of the publications are fresh everyday images of the model, photos in a swimsuit, as well as pictures from social events that Olivia attends with her husband. A stylish couple chooses outfits to harmonize with each other. And this is another reason that they have become the favorites of the public.

Palermo glows with health and optimism. The celebrity keeps fit, her weight is 53 kg with a height of 168 cm, and the parameters of the model are 87/61/84.
