We had a wonderful experience with our open concept Master Bathroom remodeling (12 × 7). The owner of Kitchen and Decor is the representative that came out to our home to discuss the bathroom remodeling. From the beginning to the end, it was all very professional and a high level of expertise with there team. The demolition was done in a couple of hours, electrical done in half a day, plumbing done in half day and flooring and walls completed in a week. All bathroom fixtures installed and left spotless. Overall the bathroom was completed in 2 weeks and it came out spectacular, it's what you call the WOW Factor! I highly recommend Kitchen and Decor for any remodeling project you may need at home. Price range is fair based on a couple of estimates I did. The most important part was meeting the owner Roberto Hudson and his involvement and trust over seeing the project. Kitchen & Decor Center is a small, family-run business that did a wonderful job on our kitchen remodel at a very reasonable price. Monica is the designer and her husband Roberto is the general contractor who oversees the work crews. Prior to finding Kitchen & Decor Center, we had approached two other firms, but neither firm was able to come up with an acceptable design. It was if they were trying to fit us into their cookie-cutter vision of what the kitchen should look like, rather than listening to us and designing what we wanted. Conversely, Monica worked with us in designing exactly the kitchen that we wanted. After listening to us describe what we were looking for, she put together a design presentation, including 3D drawings. She managed to do what other firms said was impossible given our space limitations. After a couple of modifications, we accepted the proposed design and then the demo work began the following week. Not only was the design to our liking, but the materials picked out by Monica were exquisite. We receive compliments from everyone who comes over to our house. The entire project from demo to installation took about three weeks, not counting a slight delay in completion of the finishing touches due to suspension of work in March due to the coronavirus quarantine. Both Monica and Roberto were always available to answer any questions or concerns that arose during the process, both by phone and by email.

Monica was very prompt in coming to our house came on three occasion, we discussed everything in great length, she took lot of pictures, emails sent to and fro. But we made one bid mistake, her husband who's licensed contractor, was never a part of the discussion. We gave kitchen decor a initial deposit of 5k+ on Sep 18th and we were told the cabinet we had chosen were in back order, they would be ready sometime end of Sep. Then we were told we could get Euro Shaker design, not what we had chosen, but moe expensive then duro shaker we had chosen, we said no we want what we had chosen. Finally it was almost end of October, The husband comes for the demolition, without even a ladder, nor any drop cloth even though we had asked them to cover everything before they start the demolition. Once the demolition was over, Roberto the licensed contractor, started questioning the extent the drywall was to be repaired. They kept changing the extent till I showed the email, and then Roberto said we should take care of the drywall, he will remove that item from the Contract. He made no attempt to even give us a new price for the drywall, because of the sudden switch we had to go looking for a drywall person. The cabinet they installed, I pointed out the imperfections to Monica, her response "If I had a screwdriver I would take care of it right now", well nothing has been done. I sent Monica a picture of one of the cracks in the spice cabinet ! I am going to send you her response after weeks of silence. Their Employees did not clean after finishing the work, they left a mountain of corrugated sheets from the cabinets right in the middle of our living room, which we as Senior Citizens had to take care, did not let us know when they were leaving just left the mess for us to clean.

I’m really surprised about your review, and I’m really sorry you feel this way. I know there were some communication issues about what was and was not included on the drywall repair. The email I sent previous to sign the contract, that my husband showed you as well as the agreement was, for us, very clear. Then when we (both parties) decide to remove the drywall work from the contract, I thought we all agreed. About the cabinets been in back order, yes is true, they took longer than expected, but unfortunately I had no control of timing and I gave you a few options that were available for immediate installation, but you decided to wait for the ones chosen, and once again I though we agreed. Due to these inconvenience , I decided to install as a complement (free of charge) a spice rack that was not Included on the agreement price. Unfortunately the application doesn’t allow us to include pictures on my reply. But I am adding them to my gallery with your name, because I know my work and I considered we did a great job.

Before making a decision as to what company to hire for the job, I went to Angies list, and chose 5 persons or companies. I interviewed them all, and I do think I took the best choice when I hire Roberto and Monica for the job. They do have a nice and very varied showroom, Monica helps you with the decoration, and advises as to what would be better, and not precisely the most pricely. I do not live in Miami, I live in Guatemala, so I just gave them the key to my apt, and they took over from there. I sincerely congratulate you in having them on your list, they did a super job, and were constantly sending me photos as to how the job was progressing. Really professionals, and very nice people to deal with. They managed all the permits and the whole paperwork, required by the condominium. Later on, I asked them to change the doors to my closets and A/c, so they took the time to go to the store, buy them, paint them, and install these doors. How better can it get? The bathrooms turned out to be beautiful, better than what I had imagined. Very reliable persons, imagine nobody was home, and they had the key to my apt. Thank you both.
