In which direction should the board be laid on the plywood?

Cost of laying a parquet board per square meter for glue and technology
Laying a parquet board (the cost of work depends on the area of the room) is allowed only on a perfectly flat surface.
Glue will stick the dice to any base. However, if the coating has defects, then they must be eliminated. Screeds are usually primed and leveled using a self-leveling floor, and scraping is carried out on wooden surfaces.
If parquet boards are laid on wood flooring, then special pins are driven into the grooves of the boards. This is done so that the board adheres better to the surface. How to choose an underlay for floating installation?
When performing professional underlayment, the first step is to choose the material for the underlayment. There are 5 types of substrates: flexible ones are rolled up, and rigid ones are made in rectangular or square shape. At first it may seem that even an inexperienced person can choose a substrate, but everything is not so easy here. There is a certain scheme for selecting the substrate for a particular room. Not all of them protect the flooring from moisture, which means that you will still have to spend money on plastic wrap.
Underlays can also be used to slightly isolate the room from sound or smooth out existing surface irregularities. Under the last two versions of the substrates, it is recommended to lay a polyethylene film to protect against moisture; in the first three options, its use is not necessary.
Underlay types:
- Polyethylene foam (high waterproofing).
- With foam balls placed between two layers of foil for excellent waterproofing.
- Rubber and bituminous backing with good moisture protection.
- Natural cork backing is not waterproof.

Work on a concrete base presupposes in the initial stage the ideal leveling of the base - with cement (if potholes and depressions are more than one centimeter deep) and leveling mixtures (if their size does not exceed one centimeter). Before laying the parquet, the area is swept from the windows to the door. The accumulated dust is removed with a vacuum cleaner. The cleaned surface of the screed is additionally primed and leveled, eliminating any protrusions and potholes so that the parquet is laid with the highest quality. Damaged places, recesses, entry / exit points of pipes into the room, as well as joints with walls, are smeared with gypsum-cement mortar and dried thoroughly.
The evenness of the base is checked using a rail and a level - for laying the parquet, the gap between the floor surface and the rail should be no more than 2 millimeters, otherwise the adhesion of the parquet to the base will not be strong enough, which will negate the entire laying of the parquet.
After applying the primer, laying the parquet is carried out after 10-12 hours. The temperature in the building should not be lower than +18 degrees, and humidity: 45-60%.
Parquet flooring on wood can be carried out on several types of substrates: on a grooved board substrate, on chipboard and plywood, on a plank floor mounted on logs.
Laying varnished or oiled solid board on a finished base
