A brightly-painted yellow wall brings color into the dining room like nothing else. And it doesn't need to be a smooth or plain wall either—you can paint over paneling too, just like Home Made by Carmona did in her space. Pair the wall with a bold contrasting color, like black or deep navy, for a stunning look.

Today, we have chosen the kitchen of the week by designer Anna Smirnova for the Housing Problem program, where a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and even an office are located on 10 square meters

Today We chose the kitchen of the week by designer Anna Smirnova for the program "Housing Problem" , where 10 square meters housed a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and even a study.

For 10 years, the yellow and blue kitchen of the heroes of this the program is outdated both morally and physically - it survived the flood and manual raids chinchillas, chipboard and plywood led, nails fall out ... However, "Apartment question, together with designer Anna Smirnova, enthusiastically took up the rework, so that the result is a very cozy and picturesque place.

It just so happens that all the most interesting things happen in the kitchen. Why is not clear: maybe it’s crowded, or maybe people want food and warmth stretch? Although now people have plenty of space in an apartment, and starve stopped. However, the fact remains - everyone is drawn to the hearth.

Here, the heroes of the "Housing Problem" are no exception - with in the presence of a three-room apartment, they still prefer to get together precisely in the kitchen. The hostess cooks there, and checks notebooks (she is a teacher, after all), and feeds her husband and daughter.

So the task of the author of the project turned out to be difficult: by 10 square meters to accommodate a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and even a work cabinet.

Therefore, it was important to rationally use all available space. Fortunately, it was possible to attach a loggia to the kitchen. They fought for every centimeter, even managed to make a niche in a box with risers. I wanted to put a sofa for the TV for the heroes, and kitchen appliances accommodate more (yes, at a convenient height!), And a working table for the hostess foresee...

The result is a work surface of only 180 cm along with stove and sink. But one of the dining tables is height designer made 90 cm as a kitchen base, and if necessary it will be possible use in cooking.

The chairs were also chosen with varying heights - due to special lift. All tables are equipped with wheels, so they are without large efforts can be arranged and moved around the kitchen.

In addition, Anna provided a lot of mezzanine and built-in wardrobes around the perimeter of the kitchen and even the loggia. They are white and visually the kitchen does not weigh down, and you can get to them with the help of a ladder, which is conveniently attached to the wall of the loggia on a special hook.

Most of the effort required to install the coffee machine - in the main room of the kitchen, she did not fit, but in the loggia she did not have enough depths. The designer had to come up with a cunning design of the built-in wardrobe with pushed forward by the central part.

The kitchen was chosen as white as a blank sheet of paper on which I immediately wanted to draw something, delimit the space. where the sofa is and a refrigerator, painted strict cells, personifying the masculine principle. And in zone of working equipment, a stove and a table for checking notebooks on the walls and kitchen facades, the designer's daughter Lisa painted a magical a tree growing from a teapot.

On its branches are placed strange and wonderful characters: an owl with a bag over his shoulder, a seagull in jeans. Chocolates and sweets grow directly on the branches, and pears are tied by a string. In such an environment it will be cozy for romantically inclined young ladies.

And of course, as always, I had to work hard on incarnation. Part of the drawing was applied to the facade in an industrial way from the finished sketches, some were drawn by hand. And what color will be the output, should was revealed at the very last moment.

But thanks to a caring girl Svetlana from the kitchen factory, who, together with Anna and the colors, checked everything, and I was looking for different handles throughout the factory, everything turned out with the kitchen.

However, there was also a mosaic for a kitchen apron, assembled according to a drawing designer almost by hand. It also had to be entered in color, and with combine cells. And a funny Italian chandelier with glasses, too, not immediately caught fire at full power...

But in the end everything worked out.

Bird canteen. Diary of observations of students of the 4th grade of the OSHI SBEI "Baltic Coast" Head: 4th grade teacher Dashkova S.P. 2017-2018 academic year

Slide 2

Feed the birds in winter! Let from all over To you flock, as home, Flocks on the porch. How many of them die - do not count, It's hard to see. But in our heart there is warmth And for the birds. Object of study: birds wintering near us. The purpose of the work: to study the lifestyle and observation of the behavior of wintering birds in our area. The content of the work: in our diary we will tell you about a small but very important period of time in the life of our smaller brothers, who are almost always there, but few people notice.

Slide 3

By the end of October all migratory birds left us. This is the time to prepare and hang bird feeders. Every year, new bird feeders appear on the trees surrounding our school: someone makes them from a juice box, someone makes wooden ones. We also decided to continue the tradition and made our own feeders.

Slide 4

We were very curious about who would come to visit us? And we began to conduct our observations. To expand their knowledge, they found information in books and on the Internet, and as a result, a very interesting story was obtained from the life of birds wintering near a human dwelling.

Slide 5

Work plan. Method "Observation" Our research began with the usual "observation". With the first snow, the first guests visited us at the feeders. These were all of us familiar gray sparrows. This is one of the most famous birds that live in the neighborhood of the dwelling and is well recognizable both by its appearance and by its characteristic chirp. Sparrows are found everywhere. The field sparrow was named so a long time ago because flocks of sparrows could devastate vast fields. It feeds mainly on plant foods, only in spring partially on insects, which also feeds nestlings

Slide 6

Pigeons were frequent guests of our feeders. In places of human habitation, they easily adapt to eating food waste and grain (wheat, barley, corn, etc.). Occasionally eats insects. In general, compared to other species, pigeons are quite unpretentious in choosing a source of food. Pigeons in general both walk and fly very well, so food is usually collected on the ground, but they also did not refuse to treat our feeders. Pigeons live in flocks, and sometimes very large ones.

Slide 7

And only in December, when frost intensified, titmouse appeared. This is a very beautiful bird. She has a black cap on her head, white cheeks, a black stripe on her throat - a tie. The wings and tail are gray, the back is yellow-blue, and the abdomen is yellow. The tit is very voracious, it eats as much per day as it weighs itself. Thus, it is of great benefit by eating harmful insects, and on a sunny winter day it pleases us with a cheerful song. A very mobile bird. In winter, it gathers in mixed flocks with other birds and roams in search of food. Willingly visits feeders, where it feeds on sunflower seeds, unsalted lard.

Slide 8

Method "Experiment" We fed our guests every day and gradually began to understand what they like and what they don't. At first, we noticed that the birds do not eat bread crumbs and buckwheat. They also refused to eat roasted seeds. Sparrows and titmouse preferred to treat themselves to ordinary sunflower seeds. But they peck millet and rice only in severe frosts. So we conducted our first "experiment".

Slide 10

At the end of February, through the window, we saw how the trees near our school were full of flowers. The bullfinches have arrived! How much joy we had when these red-breasted birds began to fly to our feeder. We noticed that if there are bullfinches at the feeder, then the tits are waiting for it to be free, and vice versa. But sparrows can arrange a fight for food, but only with tits, and not with bullfinches. We decided that this was due to the fact that bullfinches are larger than sparrows. And sparrows are afraid of them.

Slide 11

When there were a lot of guests at the feeder, we noticed that the tits are not similar to each other in their color and size. Some more, others less. And on the head of the little titmouse there is a blue “hat”. We became very interested in why they are different, so we used another research method "Comparison".

Slide 12

Method "Comparison" In the identification atlas "From Earth to Sky" we read that a titmouse with a bright yellow breast and a black tie on its stomach is a Great Tit, so named because it is larger than the others. A smaller titmouse with a blue “cap” and no black tie is a blue tit. Its name comes from the word "azure", blue.

Slide 13

Then we noticed that different bullfinches arrive: some have a red breast, others have a gray one. We did not find the information we were interested in in the atlas-determinant, so we turned to another book by Andrey Anatolyevich Pleshakov "Green Pages". Here is what we read there: "... the females of these birds are not as bright as the males: their breasts are not red, but grayish-brown."

Slide 14

Method "Comparison of obtained data" with each other and with literary sources. The winged guests brought us much joy. They are very interesting to watch. First, one bird flies to the feeder at about 10 in the morning, when the frost subsides a little. We are in the middle of our second lesson. We called this first bird scout. The scout does not take anything from the feeder. Looks and flies away. And after a while, the whole small flock arrives and sits on the branches: this is about 10 - 15 birds. It is very fun when tits, sparrows, bullfinches, woodpeckers fly up to the bird's dining room in turn. If the sun peeps out, then they joyfully chirp in different ways. The last guests arrive, as the teacher told us, already at about 6 pm. Every day we poured a glass of seeds into the feeder so that everyone had enough. And in severe frosts, you need to pour a treat. When the birds are full, they are not afraid of frost.

Slide 15

Interestingly, sparrows and chickadees do not immediately eat a grain. First, they take the seed to the twig. There, holding the seed with a paw, they take out the grain and eat it. Bullfinches immediately in the feeder split the shell, get a grain, eat it and fly away, giving way to other brothers

Slide 16

Research results. Spring will come soon, all our guests will fly away. But we will wait for them next winter and prepare well. It turns out that titmouse eat not only sunflower seeds, but also pumpkin, melon and watermelon seeds. You just need to wash and dry them. Tits also love lard, only it should be unsalted. In autumn, we will definitely make “reserves” for our guests in the bird canteen.
