So glad we spent the money and used Westbury
We looked at a few options before choosing Westbury and we're so glad we did. Westbury genuinely listened to what we wanted, and made recommendations we hadn't thought of. We now have a beautiful garden room and I can't imagine a day when I won't come downstairs and admire it. Westbury aren't cheap, but if you have the money, they are worth every penny. They even supplied a small pot of their paint after installation, so we could exactly match a fire surround to the doors. Thank you Jonathan, Emma, Sally, Daniel, Dave and everyone involved in our project.

Our Westbury Garden Room was completed…2017
Our Westbury Garden Room was completed a few years ago and we have been absolutely thrilled with it. It has literally brought the sunshine in.
The whole process was incredibly smooth and the team really cared about every aspect of design and delivery. As a result, we have a home that feels magazine worthy.

Great product matched by equally great service
We engaged with Westbury Garden Rooms to design and supply a garden room for a new house we were having built. To be honest we have been impressed from start to finish. At the beginning they provided wonderful design ideas and were able to physically show us many of the different options in their amazing factory and showroom (definitely worth a visit - incredible combination of traditional workmanship with the latest technology). Once we had selected the design, the production and supply was painless and they communicated well with the builder running our project. Their organisation and after care was also meticulous ensuring that any niggles were sorted quickly and to our satisfaction. It really has made our new home complete and provides a wonderful multi purpose area for the whole family to enjoy.

Be very careful choosing this company…
Be very careful choosing this company to design and build your garden room!
Allthough the finished product looks fanastic and they are very good at the front end sales with photographs and marketing, the actual after sales is horrific and they do not look after their customers when their rooms start rotting!
I spent close to £200K on a pool enclosure with these guys in 2014 only to find that they used soft wood in the construction of the door frames and other areas which simply rotts after 2-3 years. When I asked for assisitance in resolving the matter they hid behind their limited 5 year warranty rather than fixing the problem, very dissapointing when you spend so much with the company and the project a quality product but use the wrong materials.
It should be noted that where they have used the correct type of wood there are no rotting issues and the room ventilation is optimised using a state of the art air handling system to control humidity and ventilation.

Hi Online Trader,
We're saddened to receive this review and would also like to apologise for the delay in our reply as it was posted before we claimed our Trustpilot page, therefore we were not notified.
We hear your frustrations, however we do openly advertise our use of Accoya. We use this as the wood goes through a process of acetylation, which results in a Class 1 timber - the highest rating in durability for timber. Please accept our apologies if this wasn’t effectively communicated when you made your purchase, we will do our best to ensure this is more clear going forward.
Regarding your particular project, we always provide personalised advice to our clients based on our wealth of experience. However, on this occasion you had chosen to not follow our advice in relation to the ventilation of your pool house.
Unfortunately, we could not accept responsibility for the poor ventilation, when the requirements that we had laid out for you were not met. In this instance, the legal action that you sought against Westbury also ceased when it became evident that you chose not to follow the requirements laid out by us for your building.
We hope this goes some way into answering some of our complaint, however we appreciate it doesn't resolve your frustration. We sincerely wish you all the best and thank you for your kind words regarding the appearance of our garden rooms, orangeries, and pool houses.
Kind regards,
Westbury

A great day out for family and friends
May 2017 • With friends
If you want a day out in the open air and nature, then Old Westbury Garden (Long Island) - great place for a one day getaway. Beautiful nature, birds singing, flowering trees and flowers, green fields, a lake - all this leaves an indescribable impression. On the territory there is a place where there are wooden tables and benches. You can bring your own food and have a picnic. Campfires and barbecues are not allowed. In the center of the estate there is a historical house-museum. Furnishings, furniture, utensils, paintings and the interior of the house retains the atmosphere of those ancient years. A wooden staircase leads to the second floor, where the bedrooms and bathroom are located, which show the life and life of these people. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Entrance fee: $12, seniors and students $10, children $7. Car parking and the museum are free. nine0013

great!
June 2014 • Family vacation
Very nice park. A very pleasant house. Very pleasant staff.
This, of course, is not an English castle, but a very worthy house with architecture and interior decoration.
It is possible to walk through the interiors with a guide, or you can master two floors on your own. nine0043 It is better to go to the website of the house in advance and find out about upcoming events. We got to a summer music concert of some school and the walk turned out to pleasant music.
I won't say it's a must see. But a pleasant walk is guaranteed!
p.s. If you're at home, don't forget to check the visitor toilet (even if you don't need to) =)

A wonderful walk.
Sept. 2013 • With friends
My husband and I were traveling in the eastern part of America. Lots of impressions. Sometimes you want to see not only cities, but also visit an oasis of calm. Very beautiful park (especially if someone is interested in landscape). A magnificent mansion (a family lived in it for more than 50 years). It was a pleasant and interesting walk. nine0013

Very nice relaxing place to visit
Aug. 2017
Old buildings are very nice to visit and look at. I really liked the house with a swimming pool at the back of the building and a pond. It's a nice open space where you can just walk around and look at the gardens. There are also activities from time to time. Also a great place for a picnic! nine0013

A beautiful day in a magnificent piece of Long Island History
July 2017 • For two
I have lived on the Island in its entire life and have never enjoyed a visit Gardens of Westbury Square during the day. We went to want to see the figures of Seward Johnson. But when we got to the main building we joined the tour and heard a dozen give details about the history of the house, the Phipps family, the estate with gardens and much more. The Majestic hotel itself with many original pieces of furniture and plaster work throughout. An awesome place to live. Once we finished the tour, we took the map we were given and went on our own adventure to look for the 32 Seward Johnson figures that are located all over the Manor. Some were in plain sight, others we had to look for in the corners of the gardens that were not in sight. We had such an educational territory. The flower beds are in perfect condition, with a great view of the flowers that were already in bloom. We spent a wonderful day. Don't miss this exhibition. Exceptional. nine0013

We visited these gardens to film for my sister's wedding. I was amazed at how beautiful everything was. We didn't have time to walk alone, but this is definitely a place that I will return to when in New York! nine0013

You will laugh with pleasure!
July 2017 • With friends
Yesterday four of us active seniors decided to visit because we wanted to see Seward Johnson outdoor figure exhibition. There were 32 sculptures, electric for viewing, conveniently located throughout the large area. It was very funny! After enjoying a superb tour of the main house presented by an experienced volunteer, we toured the outdoor sculptures on our own. They dispersed in different environments. For example, there is an inspired set of expensive impressionist statues on the terrace and at the back of the hotel. Signs to dine, dancing, opportunities to escape under umbrellas seated around the lake, from fishing, painting, etc. They are the real characters in the Luncheon Boating Group were in the sense of Renoir. I could go on and on, but here are the modern signs, others on the grass with their iPhones or sun glasses, and some touch up or play with the kids or take a walk. Allow yourself a few hours to walk the 200 acres and just have fun. nine0013

The garden tour was elegant. the tour guide was very professional and patient (there were a lot of kids and seniors), the house tour was also very good. "Scaffold Cafe" is a charming outdoor cafe, there were reasonable and tasty sandwiches and salads were available (self service) a great way to spend an interesting day! To crown the whole day, a great jazz concert was served near the mansion The game was the main musicians!! nine0013
