Smeg blender reviews

Smeg Blender review – smart, powerful, and beautiful to look at

The Smeg Blender is designed for making delicious smoothies. It's got four speed settings and a pre-set smoothie and ice function. It's also one of the nicest looking blenders you can buy, with a '50s retro-style design and sleek die-cast aluminum body.

If you want a lovely-looking blender that's easy to use and great for making smoothies, this could be the best blender for you. That said, it's not perfect. When testing for this Smeg Blender review I was disappointed that the Smeg Blender's 1.5-liter Tritan jug isn't designed to tackle hot items such as soup, which is definitely a limiting factor for a larger blender.

What the Smeg Blender can do, it does very well. This includes blitzing through tough ingredients like kale and fruit rind, as well as cubes of ice and frozen spinach. Keep reading for my full Smeg Blender review.

Specifications

The Smeg Blender has a large and hefty base made of die-cast aluminum. It's definitely on the heavy side when compared to other blenders, but this is clearly a blender that was designed to live on the counter, so that's not too much of a concern to me.

The Smeg Blender is designed predominantly for making smoothies

The front of the blender has the letters SMEG printed onto the front and back side. It has anti-slip feet and the cord slots easily into the base.

You can choose from a range of colors when you buy the Smeg Blender. This includes cream (the color I got to try), pastel green, pastel blue, black, white, pink, and red.

The jug itself is 1.5 liters/48oz in capacity, which is enough to make three or four servings of smoothie. It's made of sturdy Tritan with a weighty and equally sturdy side handle. The lid slots into place with a silicone seal, and there's a hole in the center that makes it easy to add in ice or bananas. There's a stopper that slots right into place, but this is a little tricky to remove and takes a good tug to open. This also acts as a measuring cup.

How the Smeg Blender works

A delicious blueberry and spinach smoothie

Some blenders need to be twisted into place. The pitcher on the Smeg Blender simply slots into the base, with no twisting or locking required. This is very sturdy and secure, and during testing I never worried that it would fall out of place because it's secured by the grooves on the side of the base of the pitcher.

With the Smeg Blender there's three settings: pulse, smoothie, and ice. You choose your setting by twisting the dial into position and pressing the start button, or simply pressing the pulse button.

You can also choose from four speed settings with the Smeg Blender. This can be increased or decreased as you blend, but you need to choose your initial setting before pressing the on/off button to start. This is found at the side of the blender itself, which can be a little tricky to read compared to blenders where settings are displayed at the front of the base.

Reviewing the Smeg Blender

The Smeg Blender is truly average when it comes to the noise it creates. No blender is quiet, but this one isn't too loud. It does depend on what you blend, but I was able to blend for a fair few minutes without being bothered by the noise this blender creates.

This is a blender that's designed for making smoothies, so that's what I did. I made both smoothies with soft fruit and spinach, as well as frozen fruit smoothies to really rest the Smeg Blender's ability to blend ice and chunks of frozen spinach.

The Smeg Blender makes a lovely smoothie. It came out creamy and smooth, and it blitzed through ice with little trouble, although I could hear the ice rattling around as it blended.

When blending in the Smeg Blender it creates a whirlpool that allows you to see straight down into the center. This gave me confidence that all elements of my smoothies were being blended, and allowed me to add new ingredients straight to the center of the blender.

Can you make soup in the Smeg Blender? I was disappointed to learn that you're not meant to. I had planned on making a tomato and red pepper soup, with tray baked ingredients blended with stock and cream.

According to the Smeg website , when making soup in the Smeg Blender "you should always let hot food cool before blending, do not place boiling liquids into the blender as this can cause damage to the jug."

This was disappointing because the Tritan jug certainly felt sturdy enough to handle hot ingredients. Instead, I let my soup ingredients cool before blending and adding cream and stock. The soup was very creamy and had almost a whipped consistency, which was impressive because I had added rosemary and both tomatoes and red peppers with the skin on to see how well the Smeg Blender handles fruit and vegetable skin.

Cleaning the Smeg Blender

The Smeg Blender's pitcher is dishwasher safe, but the blades are not. You need to remove them using the cap measurement that slots into the lid of the machine. It's designed to slot onto the base of the pitcher from underneath and unscrew the blade from the position, after which it can be washed with soapy water.

The lid and measuring cup can both be placed in the dishwasher too, and the Smeg Blender also has a self-clean option. To do this you add some warm water and detergent to the pitcher and press the start button and press pulse for two seconds at a time, ten times. This should budge most of the remnants from your smoothie, especially if you do it right after blending.

Is the Smeg Blender worth the money?

In the US, the Smeg Blender costs $249.95. In the UK it's priced at £179. This is a little steep for any blender, but in my opinion, there are few reasonably priced options that can compare in terms of looks.

If you have any other Smeg appliances, including the Smeg stand mixer or juicer (we also have a Smeg Citrus Juicer review for more information on this) it's worth splashing out a bit more for that co-ordinated look.

This is a smart blender, and the settings definitely do what they're designed to do. That said, you do pay a premium for the looks and the quality die-cast aluminium construction in this blender.

Homes & Gardens verdict: should you buy the Smeg Blender?

If you want a beautiful and high-quality blender for making smoothies for the whole family, look no further than the Smeg Blender. It's easy to use and despite its smart modes it's very user-friendly. Little touches like the base of the pitcher, which slots right into the base, make this a smart choice that couldn't be easier to use. It also creates incredibly smooth and creamy drinks and can blast through ice with ease.

My reservations are as follows: you can't blend hot ingredients, which is a real shame and a limiting factor for versatility, and cleaning in the dishwasher requires you to remove the blade. It's easier to use the self-clean option to get an easy clean after use.

For those with a proudly coordinated kitchen, you can pair the Smeg Blender with some of the best toasters and best juicers on the market.

The Smeg BLF01 is a full-size blender with an attractive '50s-style design. Although its motor body is aluminum, it doesn't feel well-built as it has a cheap-feeling plastic gear and a loose-fitting gasket around the blade assembly. It can make a decent smoothie and snow-like crushed ice, but with thicker mixtures, the blades tend to push the ingredients to the sides of the jar where they get stuck. The jar and two-part lid are dishwasher-safe, which is nice, but the removable blade assembly needs to be cleaned by hand.

Note: During testing, our blender's jar consistently leaked liquid onto and through the motor base. While this may not affect every unit, there are a few reports online from users who say they had the same issue. If you have this blender, please let us know your experience in the discussions.

Our Verdict

6.0 Multi-Purpose

The Smeg BLF01 is bad for multi-purpose use. While it can crush ice and make a decent smoothie if you add enough liquid, it can't make almond butter or blend hot ingredients. It's also badly built since some parts feel very cheap, and our unit leaks when blending liquid ingredients. It's not easy to clean since the blade assembly isn't dishwasher-safe, and you need to unscrew it and wash it by hand after each use to properly clean the blender.

7. 9 Smoothies (Single Serving)

The Smeg BLF01 is alright for smoothies and protein shakes. You need to add more liquid to the jar than some other full-size blenders, or the ingredients get stuck to the sides of the jar. However, with enough liquid in the recipe, it can incorporate kale into a well-blended smoothie. It can also make snow-like crushed ice. Unfortunately, it's not well-made and is also a hard blender to clean.

Pros

8.5 Smoothies (Multiple Servings)

7. 6 Ice Crushing

The Smeg BLF01 is good for ice crushing. With its pulse mode, it's able to break ice cubes down into snow-like crushed ice. Unfortunately, the 'Ice Crush' mode doesn't work very well. It takes longer to crush ice than some more powerful, better-built blenders, and some of its parts feel very flimsy and cheap, so it's not a great option if you make a lot of crushed ice and want something durable.

Pros

Cons

4. 4 Soups

You can't safely use the Smeg BLF01 for hot blending, so it's not suitable for making soups.

4.4 Professional Use

The Smeg BLF01 is inadequate for professional use. The 48-ounce jar is on the small side, and our unit leaks liquid, which is particularly annoying if you use your blender often. The plastic used for the gear and the base of the jar also feels very cheap. While it can make snow-like crushed ice and decent smoothies if you add enough liquid, it can't be used for hot blending and fails to make almond butter. You can put the jar and lid in your dishwasher, but the blade assembly needs to be unscrewed and washed by hand every time you use the blender.

Differences Between Sizes And Variants

The Smeg BLF01 comes in several different colors: 'Black' (BLF01BL), 'Cream' (BLF01CR), 'Pastel Blue' (BLF01PB), 'Pastel Green' (BLF01PG), 'Pink' (BLF01PK), 'Red' (BLF01RD), 'Silver' (BLF01SV), 'White' (BLF01WH). There's also a variant with a bright pattern design (BLF01DGUS), which is part of a collaboration between Smeg and Dolce and Gabbana and is a more high-end limited edition.

We tested it in Black and you can see the label for the unit we tested here. We expect our results to be valid for the other variants as well.

If you come across another variant, let us know in the discussions, and we'll update our review.

Compared To Other Blenders

The Smeg BLF01 stands out for its stylish, '50s-inspired design. It comes in several different glossy colors that match other Smeg appliances and takes up less space on your counter than many full-size models that we've tested. Unfortunately, it has a worse build quality than some much cheaper blenders, such as the Hamilton Beach Power Elite Multi-Function or the NutriBullet Blender Combo, and it's a pain to clean.

The Smeg BLF01 is compact for a full-size blender. Its motor base is only slightly larger than the NutriBullet Rx's, so it doesn't take up too much room on your kitchen counter or in a cupboard. You can also remove the jar for easier storage.

The Smeg BLF01 has a poor build quality. At first glance, the aluminum motor base looks premium and sturdy, the power cable is thick, and the controls feel clicky and well-made. However, the grey plastic on the motor base and the bottom of the jar feels thin and cheaper than the rest of the build. There's a safety feature that ensures the blender can't start unless the jar is mounted on the motor base, but it doesn't stop you from blending with the lid off. You can remove the blade assembly from the jar by using the removable center piece of the lid as a key, but unlike the tool that comes with the NutriBullet Rx, it doesn't give you much extra leverage and is tricky to do when your hands are wet. It also seems likely to cause damage to the plastic center piece over time.

Our unit also began to leak the first time we used it to blend liquids for a smoothie. This may be because the rubber gasket on the blade assembly fits loosely. The liquid dripped through the blade assembly onto the top of the motor base into the small hole for the safety feature. It then went through the motor itself and ended up on the counter. This happened every time the blender was used to process liquids, including during cleaning. Also, the metal nut under the blade assembly heated up so much that it fused slightly to the plastic base of the blade assembly and began to burn it.

Fibrous Ingredients Texture

The Smeg BLF01 is decent for making smoothies. It can incorporate kale into a smooth drink with no unprocessed bits. However, it only works if you add more liquid to the jar than other full-size blenders like the Vitamix Explorian E310 or the KitchenAid K400. With only 1/2 cup (120 mL) of orange juice in the jar, the blades quickly push the ingredients to the sides, creating empty space for the blades to spin in, similar to the almond butter test.

Moving the ingredients towards the blades with a spatula doesn't help very much, and the blender fails to make a drinkable smoothie unless you add extra liquid. It can process the ingredients with the smoothie preset mode with an additional 3/4 cup (180 mL) of orange juice in the jar, which takes about a minute and a half. The result is smooth, although a bit airy and thick. It tastes slightly warm, but that may not be an issue if you add more liquid from the very beginning to avoid blending for too long.

Crushed Ice Preparation

Crushed Ice Texture

The Smeg BLF01 is excellent for ice crushing. If you use 'Pulse' mode, it takes about two minutes to process 12 ice cubes into fluffy, snow-like crushed ice. There are a few small unprocessed chunks leftover, but the ice is mostly uniform. Unfortunately, when using the dedicated 'Ice Crush' mode, it does a much worse job and leaves behind big chunks of ice.

Nut Butter Preparation

Nut Butter Texture

The Smeg BLF01 can't make almond butter. Gradually increasing from the lowest to the fastest speed setting, it doesn't seem to have too much of an issue chopping two cups of almonds into small pieces.

However, after that point, the blender starts to fling the ingredients to the sides of the jar, where they get stuck. Even if you stop the blender every 30 seconds to push the chopped nuts towards the blades, within a few seconds of restarting the blender, the blades push the ingredients back out of the way and end up spinning in empty space. This may be because the blades are short relative to the width of the jar. Using either of the preset modes or pulse mode doesn't seem to help. After about 10 minutes in total, the result is dry almond power that you can't spread on toast.

The red light above the dial flashes all the time when the blender is plugged in, which some may find a bit annoying. When it's running, the white ring around the dial lights up. This blender doesn't offer as big a range of speeds as some full-size blenders since its minimum speed is still quite fast. It's not too loud at maximum speed, though.

The Smeg BLF01 has an 'Ice Crush' mode and a 'Smoothie' mode that each run the blender for set period. There's no self-clean program, but there are instructions in the manual for cleaning the blender using pulse mode with soap and water in the jar.

The Smeg BLF01 is difficult to clean. The manual says to clean it, you should fill the jar partway with water, add a drop of soap, and run the blender using pulse mode in two-second intervals for about 10 seconds in total. This eliminates most of the residue in the jar, even if you're working with sticky ingredients. However, you need to remove the blade assembly each time you clean the blender because debris gets stuck around where it screws onto the jar and under its rubber gasket. It's particularly tricky to clean after making something like almond butter, and you need to use a sponge and a brush to clean under the blades. Since our unit leaks, if you make something like a smoothie or even put soapy water in the jar to clean it, you also need to wipe down the top of the motor base around the gear. The liquid also drips down into the motor itself through a small hole near the gear. Since you can't access that part of the blender, it's unclear how to clean it properly. If you're looking for a blender that's easier to clean by hand, try the Hamilton Beach Professional Quiet Blender.

Review of a very beautiful blender Smeg BLF01RDEU

Blender Smeg BLF01RDEU impresses with its design: it came to us straight from America in the 50s. This style is so unusual in a modern kitchen that it draws attention wherever the blender is placed. It remains to check how, let's not be afraid of this word, outstanding beauty, the BLF01RDEU copes with its duties.

Package Contents

The shipping package made of brown cardboard contains the main box - soft blue with a blender image (also in blue) on all four sides and a description of the main advantages of the device on one of the four. nine0003

From reading the box, we learned that the blender has a lightweight and durable 1.5 liter tritan jar, a transparent lid made of the same material; double stainless steel blade, durable die-cast aluminum body, soft start, 4 speeds and three special functions: ice crush, smoothie and boost.

Opening the box, we found that the set contains:

You can also buy a bottle made of the same material as the bowl for the blender, but we did not have it during testing. Judging by the information from the official website, they put it on a block with knives instead of a bowl and then simply turn it over, take out the knives, close the lid and take the prepared smoothie with them.

At a glance

First impression upon unboxing: wow! The design is amazing: it is a very, very accurate imitation of the style of the 50s, as the name of the series, which includes BLF01RDEU, also tells us. nine0003

This is USA, beautiful life, perfect home, cocktail parties, Elvis on the radio and a Cadillac in the garage. And the lacquered red color is just like the lipstick of the first beauty of a small American town. And on the case the name of the company in convex metal letters. Twice for everyone to see. Everything was fashionable back then.

The mid-1950s in the United States was the time when housewives received colored stoves, refrigerators, toasters instead of black and white household appliances...

A 100% hit in the mood of that era causes admiring numbness. This blender is so decorative that you can put it in the middle of the kitchen and assemble the interior around it.

Weighty: when you pick it up, you wave a thing! The heavy engine compartment, it seems, no vibration will budge. Legs with rubber pads - an additional element of protection against slipping. At the bottom of the compartment there is a reel for winding the cord, very convenient.

In a perfectly transparent jar made of unbreakable, according to the manufacturer, tritan plastic, there is a block with knives. Two blades are slightly raised and curved, and two are lowered for better grinding. Knives are sharp and you can cut yourself with them. nine0003

In order to take them out, there is a special technique: you need to turn the bowl over, take the stopper-dispenser and insert it into the base of the knife block, aligning the cutouts on it with the protrusions on the base. Then turn it counterclockwise and pull it out with your hands - the knives are out, your hands are intact. For the first time, this action may require some effort, but not excessive; then, when the hands understand how to act, it will become easier than ever.

On the sides of the jug there is a measuring scale, and on both sides. Very convenient: the handle of the jug can be turned both to the right and to the left during operation. The walls of the jug are thick, this adds weight both to it and to the entire device as a whole. nine0003

The jug has a lid made of the same material with a hole for adding food during operation. The lid is seated on a transparent rubber seal-accordion, removed with some effort and inserted into place very tightly.

The jug has a spout for convenient pouring of cooked food, and on the lid there are corresponding protrusions on both sides: one closes the spout, the other is easy to pry off and remove the lid.

The opening in the lid is closed during operation with a special dosing stopper, which we have already discussed in connection with knives. This is done so that liquid components do not splatter around the kitchen, and dry ones do not scatter. You can’t tell that a cork can measure the volume of a product: there are no markings on it, and we found out its capacity is 45 ml from the instructions. nine0003

Manual

The manual can be placed on the shelf with cookbooks. But let's be honest: it's not so thick because it has a thousand recipes, but because all the information is duplicated in 13 languages. The cover is made of the same thin grayish paper as the rest of the pages, all the pictures are black and white, the font is quite small, but clearly distinguishable and clear.

We open the Russian version and see the standard warnings about caution when using, a detailed description of the device with a diagram and each part with a picture, information about the operation and care of the device, as well as four recipes, including the preparation of whipped cream. nine0003

In addition, the set includes a warranty booklet (no Russian language, keep in mind) and a small booklet that lists the models of small household appliances that Smeg makes in the "50s style" series. This booklet is already colored and varnished.

Control

In a retro instrument, the control should be in the same style: that is, no electronic displays and touch buttons. The convex control handle on the body is noticeable from the other end of the kitchen. The turn adjusts the speed of rotation: in one direction from the neutral position of the speed from the first to the fourth, in the other - the smoothie mode and the ice crushing mode. nine0003

But you can't just set the mode and start working: you still have to press the "Start / Stop" button, which is located on the same bulge. But to stop, you can either put the blender in neutral or press stop.

For grinding dry ingredients there is a Pulse mode, which is activated by a separate button. The manufacturer insists that it not be turned on for longer than two minutes.

The rotation of the switch is smooth, pressing the buttons is soft. Excellent control: simple as a carrot, and implemented with high quality. nine0003

Operation

Before using for the first time, the manufacturer advises washing all parts with warm water and drying them. Then assemble the blender, fill the bowl with the necessary products, close the lid with a cork and only then plug it into the outlet.

When we did this, that is, plugged it in, the red LED on the control button started flashing. So the blender signals that it is working, and not just standing there. Now select the desired mode and click on "Start / Stop".

Of course, a powerful blender is a loud blender. Talking in the kitchen when he is working is quite difficult, you have to raise your voice a lot. Perhaps we will not turn it on after 11 pm, no matter how much we would like to offer our midnight guest another cocktail with crushed ice. nine0003

Even a small amount of liquid content rises up to the lid during operation – another result of the powerful motor. Do not attempt to turn on the blender with the lid open or with the dispenser cap open.

Care

The motor unit of the blender must of course not be washed. The manufacturer recommends wiping it with a damp cloth immediately after use, to prevent food residues from drying to it.

The knife block must not be washed in the dishwasher and in general with very hot water, in order not to become dull. After washing, they must be thoroughly dried and only then inserted back into the device. nine0003

All other parts are dishwasher safe, only the manufacturer asks not to turn the jug.

Practice Tests

The blender has to blend well, grind and sometimes even whip. Let's see what this handsome man can do, and how well he does it.

Instant breakfast that's quick to make and quick... to drink

We took a couple of handfuls of muesli with nuts and raisins, milk, cream (you can substitute yogurt) and a banana. Muesli can be soaked in milk, for example, while you wash your face or pack your bag. But we didn't do it. nine0003

Finding muesli in the cupboard and dairy products in the fridge and peeling a banana is a minute. Muesli, milk halved with drinking cream and fruit broken into fairly small pieces were mixed and crushed in a blender at second speed for forty seconds.

The resulting smooth liquid puree is drunk in two minutes. One more minute to put everything in the dishwasher. Simple, hearty, healthy and quite tasty breakfast. The sounds made by the blender shake and allow you to wake up faster. nine0003

Result: excellent.

Almost like a hipster. Smoothie test

For the first smoothie test, we took a recipe from one of the culinary sites, where they recommended crushing celery stalks, kiwi, apple, sweet pepper and cucumber in grapefruit juice. All fruits and vegetables were skinned, cut into small pieces and put into juice.

A minute at the third speed - and a drink is ready for a lover of spicy tastes. We didn't put an ounce of pepper in there, but the combination of grapefruit and celery gives the cocktail (or runny salad) an unprecedented spiciness. If you try - do not forget to lightly salt. nine0003

A simpler option - an apple, kiwi and cucumber with cold water - will be exceptionally appropriate in the summer instead of a light snack. Here we decided to test a special program for making smoothies and were very pleased with it.

The main feature of this program is smooth transitions from high speed to low speed: to grind everything and mix thoroughly. It turns out quickly and efficiently, but the apple could be cut smaller - or chopped a little longer: small pieces remained. nine0003

This, of course, goes without saying, but still let's say it out loud: the harder fruits or vegetables we use, the smaller pieces they should be cut. And if you cut it larger - twist it longer.

Result: good.

Dough for pancakes

Dough for pancakes and fritters is easy to knead with your hands, but long and boring. Stir these lumps - the whole thing. What a difference when you have a blender on hand.

For instant breakfast pancakes, we mixed one egg, about three-quarters of a glass of liquid (milk, kefir, yogurt or cream, you can just water. We had drinking cream), half a teaspoon of salt and a tablespoon of sugar. All this was put into the bowl at the same time - and vzhzhzhuh at the third speed for a minute and a half. nine0003

Then they stopped, took out the cork and started adding flour. Two spoons, mix for fifteen seconds, then two more - and so on until you get a dough that resembles liquid sour cream in consistency. At this moment, you need to be very careful not to make a fountain of dough, forgetting to close the stopper-dispenser.

If it gets too thick, you can add water. Keep in mind that a lot of dough will remain on the walls of the bowl. You can scrape it out with a spoon, or you can pour a little water and let the blender work some more. This can also make thick dough more liquid. nine0003

The dough turned out perfectly smooth, evenly mixed, without a single lump.

We baked small pancakes in a frying pan greased with a small amount of vegetable oil. There was enough air in the dough after mixing to make them fluffy and tender. Although without the addition of baking powder, they become tough after cooling, and here it is a matter of technique - bake so much that there is no left for later.

Result: excellent.

Compulsory tomato test

We put in a jug a pound of strong winter tomatoes, cut into eighths and quarters with our usual carelessness. They cut off the stems and did not clean them any more. One minute on the timer at the third speed - and in the jug there was a perfectly homogeneous tomato puree without skins.

And then it seemed to us that the last 15 seconds were superfluous. The tomato puree turned out whipped, saturated with air bubbles and pale as foam.

Result: excellent. nine0213

Puree soup

From the same amount of tomato puree obtained in the previous test, I had to prepare creamy tomato puree soup.

We boiled some broccoli and cauliflower florets in a small amount of chicken broth. We cooled it down a bit, since the manufacturer did not recommend chopping hot (so as not to dull the knives), poured it into a jug, where our whipped tomatoes remained. Boiled chicken meat was also added there in large pieces and chopped at the third speed for 25 seconds. nine0003

Absolutely smooth, without a single piece of puree soup turned out to be pale and something was missing in it. We warmed it up, generously sprinkled it with dried herbs and smoked paprika. Salted. We tried. Still, something is missing ... We added 10 percent cream and got exactly what we needed.

Result: excellent.

What he was born for! Cocktail ice

The special ice crushing program tempts you with cocktails that are great to drink in the heat, on the beach, at a party or just for no reason. nine0003

When testing this option, we were very afraid that we had broken a valuable device: after spinning the ice with a crack and roar for 2 seconds, it stopped. It turned out that this is a pulse mode: we work for two seconds, we rest for one. For five such approaches, four standard pieces of ice were ground into large ice chips, suitable for pouring juice into it. Or not juice .

Conclusions

Sometimes the beautiful appearance of the device hides weak working qualities, assembly flaws, and inconvenience in operation. Blender Smeg BLF01RDEU is not one of those. Convenient operation, easy assembly and disassembly, enough power for most kitchen needs, we really liked it. If only it were quieter...

Pros
  • unique design
  • multiple grinding and mixing modes
  • ease of assembly, disassembly and cleaning

Very powerful and very powerful and very power a beautiful blender, I won’t hide it in a closet, let it stand on the table and please! The case is made of metal, not heavy, but stable. The jug is light, transparent, with a comfortable handle and lid.

    Disadvantages

There were no blenders before, there is nothing to compare with, so I didn’t find any cons, only the price is too high (you can buy 3 blenders for 10,000 rubles and good quality). nine0003

Today I used it for making smoothies and cocktails for the first time, as a result, in 40 seconds on speed 1 I got a smooth puree of raw vegetables and herbs. And cocktails made from fruits and freshly frozen berries are even faster, in about 20 seconds. There are several recipes for preparing various dishes in the passport, so I will improvise with nuts and fruits

I have selected this blender, I already have a technique from the manufacturer Smeg and I very much satisfied. So this time he did not disappoint me, the blender is just a miracle! The appearance is a real delight, it is impossible to find fault with the quality of the blender, it is impeccable in my opinion. The blender also works well, I have already checked it, all the nozzles are necessary and useful, there is nothing superfluous. I'm glad I bought this blender, definitely a useful tool in the kitchen. nine0003
