Why You Should Trust Us

Our mission is to help you make better, more informed purchase decisions.

Our team spends hours researching, consulting with medical experts, gathering insight from expert professionals, reviewing customer feedback, and analyzing products to provide you with the information you need.

Overview Of BlendJet

Proudly created with love in California, BlendJet’s mission was born from a desire to help people live longer, healthier lives. Founded in 2017, owners Ryan Pamplin and John Zheng created BlendJet with this motivation in mind.

After a terrible accident that left Pamplin with a traumatic brain injury, he and his (then) girlfriend focused on healing through a diet of nutritious food.

Blendjet strives to empower mindful living and give you the fuel to feel good.

They are a brand that caters to those who want to live their happiest and healthiest lives, whatever that means to them.

To me, that means getting the nutrition I need in a way that fits my life. Having something that helps me meet nutritional goals in a pinch would certainly be an asset.

The brand is anchored by the core values of family, connection, and health, and extends its values to their customers. BlendJet also prides itself on its environmentally friendly materials, using non-toxic PP/PC materials to create their products.

From protein shakes to salsa, BlendJet blenders are more than capable of helping you make your favorite recipes.

Plus, if you need a bit of inspiration, search BlendJet recipes and you’ll find an expansive list of fun, easy, and delicious drinks!

UP next in this BlendJet blender review, I’ll check out some highlights of the brand.

BlendJets Review

It’s time to kick things up a notch in this BlendJet blender review. Here, I’ll take an in-depth look at their two models. These compact blenders are designed for quick and easy nutrition, no matter where you are.

Use the BlendJet 2 and BlendJet One with smoothie packs called Jetpacks, or you can throw in your own ingredients to create personalized drinks. Let’s get into it.

BlendJet One Review

This is not your grandma’s old-school blender. The BlendJet One is a portable blender that allows you to live your best life without any restrictions.

This machine is the original portable blender, giving you power and convenience at your fingertips.

As a bonus, this blender is USB rechargeable—no wires or cords necessary.

The BlendJet One is available in multiple playful and vibrant colors, such as Lavender, Lemon, and Mint to match your aesthetic and personality. I think Lemon is super cute.

This blender is the ideal size to place in a cup holder or toss in a bag, and still big enough to serve up your favorite smoothies—whether you are headed to an early-morning sweat session or going on a late-night stroll.

The BlendJet One is not only for smoothies. It’s excellent for protein shakes, cocktails, baby food, guacamole, salsa, and more! You’ll never run out of delicious creations to whip up this little machine.

This portable blender is regularly priced at $105, however, it’s on sale for $53.

What customers are saying: “I absolutely love my blendjet! I can make pretty smoothies, cocktails, coffee, and milkshakes at home and when I’m out and about. I strongly recommend!”

BlendJet 2 Review

Say hello to your new best friend, the BlendJet 2, the company’s newest model.

It releases you from the confines of the kitchen and allows you to explore the world on your terms. Think that’s a little grandiose of me to say? Take a look at everything this little guy can do.

Whether you are headed to work in the morning, or running to the gym and need your protein, this BlendJet has you covered.

I think it’s equally as great for poolside margaritas as it is for a quick 3 pm office snack. Safe to say it’s an incredibly versatile product.

The BlendJet 2 comes in 16 colors with a design that complements your style. It looks great on your desk or countertop and is a positive reminder to enjoy something delicious and nutritious each and every day.

This product is also incredibly quiet for such a powerful blender. It’s so quiet that you can use it during late-night study sessions, or in the early morning hours without waking up your household.

The BlendJet 2 blender also features a lock mode to prevent accidental blending and spilling. No need to stress about tossing your blender into your backpack or purse if you’re on the go!

The BlendJet 2 is currently on sale for $66, with an original price of $132.

Are you ready to jet-set? The Jetsetter Insulated Sleeve was carefully created to protect your BlendJet.

The Jetsetter Insulated Tote functions like a mini-fridge to inspire endless blending on the go.

Insulated and leak-resistant, it keeps ingredients chilled for hours (without the need for an ice pack). Sounds good to me.

BlendJet Subscription Review

If you like to start your day with a delicious smoothie, BlendJet’s JetPack is the perfect ‘treat yourself’ gift.

The BlendJet Subscription for their JetPacks lets you pick the flavor of the smoothie you like best. The six delicious flavors include:

  1. Banana Blueberry

  4. Green Peach Ginger
  5. Mocha Chai
  6. Tropical Blue

Each single-serving JetPack is specially designed for the BlendJet portable blender.

Loaded with the freshest fruits and veggies picked at peak ripeness, they’re then freeze-dried to lock in all the flavors you love for a rich, creamy, and flavorful smoothie – anytime, anywhere!

I’m genuinely excited about these packs. Honestly, if I can make my life easier and get more nutrition, I’m here for it.

If you’d prefer some protein with your morning sip, JetPacks now come in a range 5 of proteinpacked flavors too.

I personally like the brand’s Latte line. With 6 flavors to choose from, I like the sounds of matcha green tea and vanilla for a frothy afternoon pick-me-up.

My favorite part? That there’s no fridge needed for these little packs. Just add milk or water – or experiment with add-ons like protein powder, fresh fruit, yogurt, seeds, or oats.

Use your imagination. Each JetPack contains nutrients such as fiber, vitamin D, calcium, iron, and potassium and is gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and made with no artificial sugars

BlendJet Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Its products are smart, they’re cute, they’re convenient—but do they really work?

In this section of my BlendJet blender review, I’ll explore what customers honestly think of the brand.

First, let’s start off with the good because there’s a lot of it. The Better Business Bureau awarded BlendJet an astounding A rating.

BlendJet reviews on Trustpilot round out to a nice 4/5-star rating.

If you were to search for BlendJet One reviews or BlendJet 2 reviews (arguably the most important products covered in this article), the results would show thousands of 5/5 ratings with the testimonials to back them up.

The vast majority of customers applaud BlendJet for their remarkable customer service, especially since the company offers replacement parts for damaged and defective blenders.

Many customers also say that BlendJet customer service goes above and beyond to help their customers.

Most buyers are delighted with BlendJet blenders’ quality, stating they are quick and efficient to use. Overall, customer reviews for BlendJet state that the brand exceeds expectations!

An example of one of many glowing customer reviews said, “I was a little hesitant to buy a portable blender because of its durability and actual performance. I have to say that this one blew my mind. It’s amazing and exactly what I needed to bring everywhere.”

Another customer complimented the diverse capabilities of the BlendJet portable blenders saying, “I have both Blendjets, but the new Blendject 2 is amazing! Larger capacity and much more powerful to chop. From protein Shakes with frozen strawberries to drinks with crushed ice. Just Amazing!”

It wasn’t all positive though. I also found some negative feedback from customers, as a few BlendJet complaints surround the brand.

While negative customer reviews are in the minority, I’d be remiss to omit them from my BlendJet blender review.

If you search for BlendJet shipping reviews, you may come across a few upset international customers. There are complaints regarding the length of time buyers must wait for their orders to arrive.

But in the end, the positive feedback for BlendJet was off the charts. People seem to really like this brand, but more so, the amazing things they can do with their portable blender.

For starters, the company has thousands of 5/5-star reviews that really made me believe that this particular blender is the must-have portable rechargeable lightweight blender of the season.

I love that BlendJet is more than just a smoothie maker too. It’s a lifestyle that wants to make your days sweeter, smoother, and tastier in many ways, all on your own terms. Each person can create their definition of a happier and healthier life.

BlendJet inspires users not to confine themselves to the kitchen, but to go out in the world and live their best life.

While I can’t ignore the negative comments I came across for this BlendJet blender review, it is essential to note that there are hundreds of positive reviews for every negative review.

Hot Blending

No

The BlendJet 2 is a battery-powered personal blender for making smoothies and other single-serve drinks on the go. It's primarily available on the manufacturer's website and comes in a variety of bright colors. It's meant to be portable, meaning you can drink directly from its 16-ounce jar with the blade assembly and motor base attached, or screw the lid on and put the whole blender in your bag.

Our Verdict

4.7 Multi-Purpose

The BlendJet 2 is poor for multi-purpose use. It makes okay smoothies and crushed ice in its 16-ounce jar, but you often need to shake the jar before the ingredients start blending. It's not good for making almond butter, and like most personal blenders, you can't use it for hot blending. It's also not dishwasher-safe. On the plus side, its jar design makes it very easy to clean by hand since it can open on both ends. It's also compact and quiet when it's running, making it well-suited for use as a portable blender.

Pros

Cons

6. 3 Smoothies (Single Serving)

The BlendJet 2 isn't bad for single-serve smoothies. It's designed to be a portable single-serve drink blender and has a light, quiet design. However, it's not the best at processing fibrous ingredients, so smoothies with ingredients like kale have a grainy texture. That said, even though it's not ideal for making evenly crushed ice for frozen drinks or desserts, it can break up ice cubes in your smoothie or shake recipe. It's also well-built and easy to clean by hand.

4.3 Smoothies (Multiple Servings)

The BlendJet 2 is poor for multiple servings. Its total capacity is small, and it makes a better smoothie if you work with small batches. If you fill it to its full capacity, it struggles to fully process fibrous ingredients like kale, which results in a very grainy smoothie. It also takes a while to process the ingredients since you need to pause to let the motor rest and shake the jar between each 20-second blending cycle. On the plus side, it's well-built and easy to clean by hand.

4.0 Ice Crushing

The BlendJet 2 is bad for ice crushing. It can't process very many cubes at once, and you need to shake the machine almost constantly while it's running to avoid jams. It manages to break up the ice cubes but makes clumpy ice with unprocessed pieces. Even though it feels well-built, the motor can overheat if you run it several blending cycles without letting it rest in between.

Pros

2.1 Soups

The BlendJet 2 can't safely blend hot ingredients, so your ingredients need to cool down if you want to use it for soup. Its small capacity and limited battery life make it less than ideal for multiple servings, and it doesn't do a good job of pureeing fibrous ingredients into a smooth blend.

3.5 Professional Use

The BlendJet 2 is bad for professional use. It's mostly intended for making single-serve drinks, and its jar is too small for bigger recipes. It struggles to make a smooth puree of fibrous ingredients, can't be used for hot blending, and struggles with tough ingredients like nuts and ice. It's decently well-built and easy to clean by hand, but not suitable for use in a professional environment.

Compared To Other Blenders

The BlendJet 2 is a compact, battery-powered personal blender that comes in a variety of bright colors. Like other personal blenders, it makes smoothies, shakes, and other single-serve drinks on the go. Unlike corded models like the Oster MyBlend or the Magic Bullet Mini, you keep its motor base and blade assembly screwed onto the jar when you bring it with you. It also makes decent crushed ice and blends much better smoothies than the NutriBullet GO, which is another cordless personal blender.

If you're looking for more options, check out our lists of the best personal blenders, the best mini blenders, and the best blenders for smoothies.

The Ninja Foodi Power Nutri DUO is better for most purposes than the BlendJet 2. The Ninja is much more suitable for processing fibrous ingredients and making nut butter. It's easier to clean by hand, has a much better build quality, and makes snow-like crushed ice. However, the BlendJet is a battery-powered blender that's intended to be portable, and it's a much better option if you're looking for a personal blender that's easy to carry around.

The BlendJet 2 comes in many different colors and patterns, including 'Black,' 'Mint,' 'Lavender,' 'Purple,' 'Red,' 'Blush,' 'Lemon,' 'Orange', 'Hot Pink', 'Seafoam', 'Lime', 'Coral', 'Sky Blue', 'White', 'Royal Blue', 'Ocean', 'Bailey's', 'White Marble', 'Black Marble', 'Woodland Camo', 'Urban Camo', 'Winter Camo', 'Walnut', 'Carbon Fiber', and 'Leopard'. There are also 'Tie Die', 'Rainbow', and 'Leopard' variants that are part of a partnership with the brand Lisa Frank.

We tested the 'Mint' variant, and you can see its label here. The expectation is that the other color variants will perform similarly. The selection of colors and patterns seems to change quite often, so you may want to take a look at the manufacturer's website to see what's currently available. If you come across another variant, please let us know in the discussions, and we'll update our review.

The BlendJet 2 is a very small personal blender. It's intended to be portable, and while it's a bit heavier than the NutriBullet GO, it's still very easy to carry around. It can fit into backpacks and purses and doesn't take up much space in a kitchen cupboard. You can also remove the jar from the base to make it shorter and easier to store.

The BlendJet 2 has a good build quality. The entire blender is plastic, including the jar and motor base. The blade assembly is attached to the base with a thin shaft and is slightly offset from the center, which the manufacturer says helps it blend better. The base sits on three rubber anti-slip pads and has a power button with a battery life indicator light and a USB-C charging port.

The jar has a magnetic sensor that helps align it with the motor base, and it screws tightly into place. There are measuring marks on it, and the lid has a built-in carrying strap.

Fibrous Ingredients Processing

Fibrous Ingredients Texture

The ΒlendJet 2 is disappointing for small batches of fibrous ingredients. It makes a very grainy puree with ingredients like kale. It's also a pretty long, hands-on process. Every press of the power button runs the blender for a 20-second cycle. You can press it immediately after every cycle to blend more or less continuously, but it's important to stop and shake the machine after every cycle. It helps get the ingredients into contact with the blades and prevent the motor from overheating. If it overheats, the light around the power button turns red, and the blender won't start until the motor cools down. When we tried the test without pausing between each 20-second cycle, it overheated after the fourth run.

Fibrous Ingredients Processing

Fibrous Ingredients Texture

It's poor at processing big batches of fibrous ingredients. To get the best results, you need to run about five 20-second blending cycles, and again it's important to pause between each run to shake the jar and let the motor rest. It struggles to process fibrous ingredients like kale and makes a grainier blend with more and bigger unprocessed bits than with a smaller batch.

Crushed Ice Preparation

Crushed Ice Texture

The BlendJet 2 is poor for ice crushing. It makes chunky crushed ice with some unprocessed pieces and can't handle many cubes at once. You need to shake the jar while the blender is running to prevent jams. It can only fit four cubes at once if you add three first, run one 20-second cycle, and then add the fourth.

Nut Butter Preparation

Nut Butter Texture

The BlendJet 2 isn't suitable for making almond butter. It can't create any kind of vortex to pull the nuts towards the blades, so you need to shake the jar constantly for the ingredients to continue processing. You need to use something like a knife to stir the ingredients between blending cycles. Unfortunately, all that effort isn't worth it since, at best, it makes very dry nut butter with a lot of unprocessed pieces.

Noise @ Max Speed

85.9 dB

Like other battery-powered blenders, like the NutriBullet GO, it's quiet for a blender. Like all blenders, you don't want to stand next to it for hours, but the noise isn't too annoying if you're just using it for a few minutes.

The BlendJet 2 doesn't have any programs or modes. Pushing the power button once allows the blender to run continuously for 20 seconds, or you can double-press it to turn on pulse mode. You can also push and hold the button for five seconds to lock the blender, which prevents it from accidentally turning on. When you're ready to use the blender again, you just hold the button for another five seconds to unlock it.

The BlendJet 2 is very easy to clean. A quick blend with soap and water takes care of most of the residue inside the jar. Then you can remove the lid and unscrew the motor base, so it's easy to rinse the lid and jar and use a brush to clear any remaining residue from the blades. However, the blades are fixed to the motor base, so you can't immerse them in water, and no part of the blender is dishwasher-safe.
