Inside the Shaquille O’Neal house – tour the Florida mansion

Shaquille O’Neal has just sold his lake-front home near Orlando for $11 million – leaving him with a profit of $7.05 million.
With its ‘gentleman’s room,’ private bar, and an aquarium-style space with a saltwater triangular fish tank – the home is one of the most exciting in Flordia – and one of the world’s best homes.
Shaquille O’Neal, the retired NBA star and astute businessman, purchased the home in 1993 for $3.95 million. The estate became just one of the homes in his extensive collection of homes around the US. He also owned this resort-like home in California which sold earlier this year.

Shaquille (also known as ‘Shaq’) first listed the home for $28 million before reducing the price to $16.5 million. However, the home recently sold for $17 million less than the original listing price.
The 31,000 square foot customized mansion sits amid a gated golf community near Disney World and ESPN in Isleworth, Lake Butler. The large living space is a catalyst of living room ideas – from its decorative rug to its rusty-hued palette that creates a contrast against the blues of the surrounding water.

The lake-side views continue throughout the property – throughout its chef’s kitchen to its formal dining room that is adjoined to the grand entryway. Beyond these conventional rooms, however, the mansion also features some more unorthodox spaces.
The most noteworthy of these include a temperature-controlled, cedar-planked humidor, a wine storage room, a cinema, and a media room. There is also a full-size basketball court, because this is Shaquille O’Neal’s home, naturally.

The property comes with 12 bedrooms, including the master wing that fuels our luxury bedroom ideas. This area includes a four-room closet, his-and-her baths, and a custom 15-foot round bed that overlooks the water.
Meanwhile, the guest wing also includes its own ‘great room’ with another secret bar and five ensuite bedrooms.

Plus, while the interiors are something to behold, the three-acre estate similarly offers water-front garden ideas. Stand-out features include a large swimming pool and a walkway to a private pier where you can set sail on Lake Butler.

How to calculate the number of rolls?
Home+How to calculate the number of rolls?
Our experts will help you calculate the number of rolls, choose the desired color, pattern and wallpaper material.
You can send a request in any way convenient for you (we will respond within an hour!):
E-mail: [email protected]
WhatsApp: 8 (981) 134-33-22
HOW TO CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF ROLLS BY YOURSELF :
1. MEASUREMENT
Measure the room. It is necessary to measure the length of the walls and the height of the ceiling. Be sure to include the width of doors and windows. Important: wallpaper is calculated only by the number of canvases, wallpaper is not calculated by square meters.
2. SELECTION OF WALLPAPERS
Wallpaper rolls come in various sizes. The most common: 10.05 * 0.53m, 10.05 * 0.70m, 10.05 * 1.06m.
Roll size plays an important role in calculating the amount of wallpaper required. You can choose the appropriate wallpaper in our online store.
3. CALCULATION
For example, let's take any wallpaper model from our online store. For example this one.
Roll size of this model: 10.05*0.53m.
Pattern pitch (rapport) = 64 cm. This means that the pattern for this model is 64 cm in height.
Getting to the calculation:
1. We need to calculate the perimeter of the room in which we are going to glue the wallpaper. To do this, you need to calculate the sum of the lengths of all walls.
For example: 5m + 4m + 5m + 4m = 18m.
Perimeter is 18m.
2. Next, we calculate the required number of sheets for pasting the perimeter of the room. To do this, we divide the perimeter of the room by the width of the roll.
For example: 18m (perimeter) / 0.53m (roll width) = 33.96 → 34 sheets.
Always round the resulting number up. Otherwise, you can get a few centimeters of a wall without wallpaper.
3. Then you need to calculate the estimated height of the canvas, which is equal to: ceiling height + pattern size (rapport).
For example: 2.6m (ceiling height) + 0.64m (rapport) = 3.24m.
Estimated web height is 3.24m.
4. Calculate the number of whole sheets that we will get from one roll. We divide the length of the roll by the estimated height of the canvas.
For example: 10.05m (roll length) / 3.24m (target web height) = 3.10 → 3 whole webs.
The resulting number is rounded down to the nearest integer so that only whole canvases are pasted on the wall.
5. Now we calculate the number of rolls needed to cover the room. To do this, we divide the required number of canvases by the number of whole canvases in a roll.
For example: 34 (desired number of sheets) / 3 (number of whole sheets in one roll) = 11.33 → 12 rolls.
The resulting number is rounded up to the nearest integer, because Rolls are only sold as a whole.
6. In conclusion, let's not forget about doors and windows. Rounding down at the expense of doors and windows must be done individually. For example, in this example, if you have a standard door and window, you need to take only 11 rolls instead of 12 rolls. Since on one standard door and one standard window we will save 2-3 canvases.
When calculating, you cannot subtract the width of the door and window from the total perimeter, and then calculate the required number of sheets from the resulting value. Because it is often impossible to save a whole canvas on the doorway. Except for the case when the canvas falls on the door as a whole.
If the wallpaper in a roll is 0.53m wide, then on a standard door (80cm wide) in rare cases you can save a maximum of 1 sheet. If the wallpaper is 0.7 m, then saving one canvas is even more unlikely. And if the width is 1.06 m, then there can be absolutely no savings.
The approach is similar for windows. If the wallpaper in a roll is 0.
