What Is Black Friday and Why Is It Celebrated? 

It is believed that the term “Black Friday” was coined to mark the point in a year where shops in the United States would start making a profit, and pass savings on to their customers as a thank you. The concept has since become an annual tradition globally, offering shoppers the perfect opportunity to grab a bargain ahead of the festive season.


When Is Black Friday 2022?

Black Friday is celebrated the day after Thanksgiving on the fourth Friday of November. This year, it will fall on 25th November 2022. It used to be a one-day event, but as the shopping event has become more popular, retailers have begun releasing offers ahead of schedule and running them for up to two weeks. Last year, Ninja’s Black Friday offers launched around this date, although lucky email subscribers will get access to our deals even earlier.

Prize Draws Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter of this Competition is SharkNinja Europe Limited (a company registered in England and Wales with company number 08492819), whose registered office is at 3150 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS15 8ZB (SNEL).
  2. These terms and conditions are the Competition rules (Rules). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.
  3. SNEL reserves the right to cancel the Competition or amend these Rules at any time if necessary to maintain the fair and proper conduct of the Competition, or if circumstances beyond its control mean that, in SNEL’s opinion, it is necessary to do so.
  4. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules or the Competition, the decision of SNEL shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into
  5. To enter the Competition the entrant must be at least 18 years old and resident in Great Britain.
  6. The Competition will run from 15 November 2022 until 25 November 2022 (the Closing Date) inclusive. Entrants may enter by going to https://ninjakitchen.co.uk/competitions-and-giveaways-cms-page.competitions or https://ninjakitchen.co.uk/competitions-and-giveaways-cms-page.competitions and completing the Woobox form found there. No purchase is necessary. Entrants may enter the Competition once only and any repeat entries using the same contact details will be disqualified. If SNEL reasonably believes that the same person has entered the Competition more than once by using different contact details, it may disqualify all of their entries. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Competition.
  7. Employees of SNEL or any group company or any company, organisation or body involved in the Competition or any members of any employees’ families or households or any other persons directly or indirectly connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter the Competition. SNEL reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants
  8. Entrants will be required to provide their name, address (which must be in Great Britain), phone number and email address to enter the Competition. Personal Data collected as part of this Competition will only be processed by SNE for the purposes of the Competition.   9. It is up to each entrant to make sure that the information they submit is accurate. SNEL is not responsible for any failure of an entrant to be properly entered into the Competition, or to receive the Prize, as a result of incorrect information being provided. Proof of transmission does not constitute proof of receipt of an entry into the Competition.
  10. SNEL is not responsible for any loss suffered by an entrant due to entries that, for reasons outside of SNEL’s control, are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, including, for example, as a result of postal failure, or any failure of equipment, technical malfunction, or systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure, unless caused by its negligence or misconduct
  11. SNEL may disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

  13. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to charges depending on their own individual arrangements for internet access (as applicable).
  14.  The Prize winner will be selected at random through the Woobox software within 7 days of the Closing Date
  15. SNEL will attempt to contact the Prize winner within 3 days of their selection to let them know that they have won and to confirm arrangements for delivery of the Prize. If the Prize winner cannot be contacted or the delivery arrangements confirmed within 7 days of SNEL first attempting to contact them, or if delivery cannot be carried out as agreed, despite SNEL or its courier having made reasonable efforts to do so in each case, the initial Prize winner will be disqualified and a new Prize winner selected through Woobox. It is up to entrants to monitor the email address and phone number they provide on entry to receive notice that they have won, and to be available to receive delivery of the Prize as agreed. SNEL is not responsible for their failure to do so resulting in the Prize being awarded to someone else.
  16. There is no cash alternative. The Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. SNEL may replace the Prize or any element of it with an alternative prize or item of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
  17. SNEL must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation SNEL will send the surname and county of the Prize winner to anyone who writes to: Marketing Department, SharkNinja Europe Limited, 3150 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS15 8ZB within two months of the Closing Date (enclosing a self-addressed envelope). If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact SNEL at Marketing Department, SharkNinja Europe, 3150 Century Way, Leeds LS15 8ZB. In such circumstances, SNEL must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  18. The winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity, including photographs.
  19. As between any individual and SNEL, the Competition and these Rules will be governed by the law of the part of Great Britain where the individual is resident. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the part of Great Britain where the individual is resident, or, if the individual is not resident in Great Britain, of the English courts.
