Inside the $3,5 Million Mountain Home Jason Momoa & Lisa Bonet Shared before Ending Their 19-Year Romance

"Aquaman" star Jason Momoa charmed movie lovers with his handsomeness following his appearance in the blockbuster, but what was even more captivating was his 19-year-long romance with his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet.

These two created many memories in their $3.5 million mountainside abode, which remains a jaw-dropping estate.

Jason Momoa's great hair, full brows, toned body, and commanding voice, paired brilliantly with his exceptional acting skills, have made him an actor to die for.

However, apart from his alluring looks, the actor's love story was a one-time inspiration to many. Momoa and Lisa Bonet became an item after officially meeting in 2005 through a mutual friend.

This was a dream come true for Momoa, who had been in love with his ex-wife since he saw her on the big screens. So when the opportunity came, these two made a magical love tale, irrespective of their age difference.

But sometimes, fairy tales do have a different ending, and sadly, that was the case for these Hollywood lovebirds. While they never made it to forever land, separating after nearly two decades together, they ensured to have a takeaway from their bond.

The former couple are parents to two kids whose appearances are as stunning as their famous parents. Before ending their marriage, Momoa was visibly in awe of fatherhood as he sometimes loved to show off bits of their family life at home.

To the outside world, everything seemed perfect with the Momoa-Bonet family; that was why it was shocking to many when the couple's love story turned sour. However, maybe this was the best decision, having figured that they were not meant to be.

Marrying Bonet was one of the best things to happen to Momoa, who had her as his childhood crush at age eight. Although it took over a decade before they shared wedding vows, they remained a phenomenal duo throughout their time as lovers.

Momoa was always in awe of his ex-wife, and in the past, he would speak excitedly about their romance. It did not matter whether she was about twelve years his senior nor that she already had a child from a former marriage.

What many thought would stand the test of the time featured the famous Hollywood love-gone-bad line: separation/divorce. Earlier in the year, these two shocked the world by sharing that they would be divorcing via Momoa's IG page.

Even though their time as lovers was over, the message was written respectfully to their families and fans.

In conclusion, they assured the public that their kids would not suffer, as they would remain dedicated to them. Their joint statement also read:

"The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become…Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children. Teaching our Children what's possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail."

A few weeks after the since-deleted post, the couple was rumored to have reconciled. The "Aquaman" star, who moved out initially into a camper van, moved again into their home.

Also, a source confirmed that the couple's teenage kids were happy about the reunion. But before the gossip had time to settle, Momoa explained that they were not back together and were family during a red carpet interview.

His explanation justified why he was seen in their former home. He would continue to have the same bond with his ex-wife since they intend to co-parent their kids, following the most amicable divorce in Hollywood history.

While the actor is still residing in his camper van, his ex-wife and kids are enjoying the ambiance of their expansive LA mansion, purchased for $3.5 million.

The couple's 10-acre estate, perched on the mountainside on the outskirts of LA, shows off an open field suitable for family picnics.

More than once, Momoa made some promotional content on the site by sitting comfortably on the grass while unboxing items.

In entering the kitchen, guests must be on the lookout for a two-step platform beneath the door.

Inside, it is fully equipped with the appropriate fittings, primarily brown woodworks.

The entrance hall boasts a white railing, but that is not the only place with an enchanting view.

Another place worth admiring is the home office, synonymous with a music room with a crisp white widespread table and shelves stacked with many hardcopy albums.

Momoa has a unique music room, but this section is home to his plethora of guitars. Their home is not the conventional type, but it tells what the couple stands for.

The actor advocates for a healthier and safer environment and is conscious of recycling plastic materials.

So it's not a surprise that the home possesses a climbing room "made of recycled plastic bottles, resin insoles (from Algae) and biodegradable consoles…packed and shipped plastic-free. "

Outside, they have a garage that looks like a mechanic's workshop. It also has a free space for plenty of cars and even bicycles.

NO REUNION AFTER ALL

Despite having lived in such a beautiful estate, Momoa's decision to continue living in his camper van costing $750k remains unchanged after a failed attempt at a reunion.

However, the actor lives a stone's throw from his children's home while the vehicle is parked in a friend's yard. His Ford RV used to be accommodation whenever he filmed on location.

The automobile was customized in 2018 to look and feel like a home away from home. It features an outdoor kitchen, an induction cooktop, a Nespresso machine, and a king-size mattress.

Momoa has been described as a man who is not into a luxury lifestyle. So living in his camper van and wearing ripped clothes even though he would appear a certain way does not bother him.

Momoa had been captured attending the premiere of Gonzalez's film "Ambulance," but they did not strut the red carpet holding hands like lovers.

Amid the new development, Bonet, who does not have any social media account and has protected her privacy as long as it can be remembered, is yet to comment. Instead, the actress has chosen silence.

PARENTING BETWEEN MOMOA AND BONET

"It's a beautiful thing to be a parent."

While there are many prominent families in Hollywood, the Kravitz/Momoa family is something else. Covering the music industry and the acting industry since the 1980s, Lenny Kravitz and his ex-wife, Lisa Bonet, have a combined net worth of $90 million, according to Cheat Sheet. During the course of their marriage from 1987 to 1993, Kravitz and Bonet had one child together, daughter Zoë Kravitz, who has an additional net worth of $10 million.

A little over a decade after their divorce, Bonet started dating actor Jason Momoa in 2005 (via Bustle). Together now for decades, the former couple have two kids in their early teens: daughter Lola Momoa and son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa. Since the start of their relationship, Momoa has been a part of multiple popular movie and TV franchises and is now a well known actor. Adding his own net worth of $14 million to the family, their overall net worth is around $115 million. With that kind of money, the family likely has pretty extravagant homes, but which family member's home is the most expensive?

Of the entire family, Lenny Kravitz has the most expensive real estate portfolio. A true Renaissance man, Kravitz is an accomplished singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and author. Since releasing his debut album in 1989, Kravitz went on to win four Grammy Awards and release 10 albums between 1991 and 2018 (via Britannica). He has also starred in several movies and TV shows, including two of the "The Hunger Games" films, in which he portrayed Cinna.

Along with his passion for music, Kravitz is a long time lover of interior design and founded his own  company, Kravitz Design, in 2003. He has since worked on projects with CB2 and Swarovski, and according to The New York Times, has designed hotel suites and residential properties in New York City, Las Vegas, Miami, and Toronto.

Kravitz owns homes in cities across the U.S., as well as Rio de Janeiro and Paris, and often spends his time traveling between properties. He has also been known to frequent the Bahamas due to familial ties and recently stayed at his property on the island of Eleuthera. Along with the Bahamian residence, which he bought in 1989, Kravitz bought a Brazilian coffee plantation in 2019 for $3 million.  Architectural Digest Middle East has also reported that he owns a '70s inspired maximalist home in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California.

Known for her role on "The Cosby Show," Lisa Bonet was a prominent actress in the 1980s and 1990s and has received numerous awards for her work including four Young Artist Awards and a Primetime Emmy. While not much is known about her real estate portfolio, Vulture has reported that following her divorce from Lenny Kravitz in 1993, Bonet purchased a five-acre property tucked away in the Santa Monica Mountains in Topanga, California.

According to Redfin, homes in Topanga currently range from $950,000 to $5.5 million, while undeveloped lots range from $40,000 to $500,000. And although it's unknown what Bonet paid, she purchased the canyon residence with the hopes that Zoë Kravitz would form a connection with nature. Bonet seemingly still resides there with her youngest children, three dogs, and a donkey that Jason Momoa gifted her. The home was also used as the site for Bonet and Momoa's private nuptials in 2017.

In early 2021, Bonet and Kravitz's former Venice Beach property was listed for $7.8 million. They bought the property in 1987, and despite divorcing, held onto it until 2000. Built in 1949, the 5,424-square-foot home consists of four bedrooms and three bathrooms and is the perfect mid-century modern retreat for artists (via Homes & Gardens).

Following in her father's footsteps, actress, model, and singer Zoë Kravitz has lived in multiple cities across the U.S. over the course of her life. From the age of 4 to 11, the "Big Little Lies" actress lived with her mother in Topanga, California, before moving across the country to live with her in Miami. Since then she spends most of her time in New York, with properties in both the city and the suburbs.

According to Dirt, Kravitz purchased a 3,000-square-foot converted warehouse in the Williamsburg neighborhood of New York City in 2015 for $3.2 million. She has continued to acquire properties in the state, recently purchasing a historic home in Pound Ridge, New York, for $1.25 million. An hour outside of the city, the home is built over a brook and once served as a cider mill and a sawmill between the late 1700s and the mid 1800s.

Known by the locals as Aaron Wood's Mill, the 2,600-square-foot structure was restored by an owner of Standard Oil, and was later converted into a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The secluded property also boasts two acres of land, wood beams, a gourmet kitchen, and a copper soaking tub in the primary suite (via Architectural Digest).

Having joined the family in 2005, Jason Momoa has since become a household name. Despite lying on his resume at the age of 20, the 42-year-old actor has gone on to star in countless franchises including "Baywatch," "Game of Thrones," "Fast & Furious," and a number of movies for DC Comics. Momoa has also worked as a producer, a writer, and a director, and has been an avid YouTuber since 2019.

The environmentally-conscious Hawaiian-born actor additionally owns a canned water company and loves the outdoors. According to Men's Journal, Momoa spent his early 20s living out of an Airstream trailer in Valencia, California, before making it big in Hollywood. Momoa then moved in with his now-estranged wife at her canyon residence, which is believed to cost around $3.5 million. With an additional five acres added to the property, the home now includes a 25-foot rock climbing wall, a greenhouse, and a skateboard ramp.

Lisa Michelle Bonet was born on November 16, 1967 in the American city of San Francisco. Her father, Allen Bonet, was African American and sang in opera. He left the family when Lisa was still very young, and the care of her daughter fell entirely on the shoulders of her mother, Arlene Litman. She was of Jewish descent and taught music to college students.

A mixture of different nationalities made Lisa's appearance unusual and eclectic, but Bonet herself did not consider herself beautiful and grew up as a very modest girl. Only by becoming actively involved in the drama club, she gained self-confidence and made friends. Having received a certificate of maturity, Lisa no longer had any doubts that she would become an actress. nine0005

Lisa took acting classes at the Celluloid studio, and by the age of sixteen she had already starred in several episodes of the well-known serial project St. Elsewhere in the USA at that time. In 1985, Bill Cosby, who was the founder of stand-up and introduced the fashion for New Year's sweaters with reindeer, invited Lisa to his new project, The Cosby Show.
