7 trendy interiors that you want to repeat
Designers use more than just tiles and paint in bathrooms. We show interiors with actual prints.
Publication date: 04/04/2022
Material prepared: Julia Sakharova
Watch the video in which we showed 7 trendy interiors
1. Classic: royal lilies
An example of a classic solution that has not lost its relevance for many years: a combination of tiles at the bottom of the wall and wallpaper at the top. Royal lilies are a universal pattern with understandable symbolism, which is why it is so in demand. This bathroom is designed in beige, but it would look just as good in dark red or dark green - it's just a matter of taste preferences.
2. Fake panel
A solution that looks fresh while remaining within the framework of the classic style is a waterproof fake panel. The small space of this bathroom seems much larger due to the panel. It is placed right in the wet area, like on a stage, on a theatrical backdrop. And the curtain, picked up by the cord, looks like a theater curtain.
3. Architecture
“Architecture” wallpaper is one of the most fashionable nowadays. It is not surprising that a wallpaper on this theme was also created for the wet zone. The author of the project pasted over the accent wall with them, and in combination with dark gray matte porcelain stoneware and bright blue matte sanitary ware, such a wall looks elegant and unbanal.
4.
JungleJungle as a fashionable interior theme does not lose ground. An accent wall with “jungle” is becoming more and more common, but the entire volume of the bathroom finished with such wallpaper, including the ceiling, as shown here, is a new word in design. By the way, a low ceiling, if you do it this way, will no longer be perceived as low, it will simply dissolve in a tropical pattern of palm leaves and vines.
5. Pattern: peacocks
Here is another approach to the trendy theme of the jungle - through the associative series. In this case, through the image of a peacock, a royal inhabitant of those very latitudes. This bathroom is decorated with golden peacocks on waterproof wallpaper. The role of the jungle is played by house plants. The realistic sculpture on the table looked like it had come off the wall. It seems that a little more, and this peacock will come to life.
6. Radiant yellow
Last year's aesthetic color trend - active, energetic yellow combined with soothing gray will be relevant for a long time to come. And what should be more in the bathroom - yellow or gray - is up to the owners to decide. By the way, this washable wallpaper is produced by the same factory as the bathtubs, so bathtubs of both colors are literally produced “to the wallpaper”. A bright sun bath will help you calmly survive cloudy days and wait for great weather.
7. Monochrome flowers
The interior theme of the floral wallpaper has been changed. If earlier such wallpapers were more of an affiliation of the English, even “Victorian” style, as well as country music, now flowers are interpreted in a new way and acquire modern conciseness and clarity. A very fashionable option is monochrome, as in this project: white lotuses on an almost black background.

7 current trends in bathroom design
Over the past decades, there has been a real revolution in the interiors of bathrooms and toilets. From cramped and dark rooms of an exclusively hygienic nature, they have turned into beautiful rooms where you can relax and take care of yourself with pleasure. What do bathroom designers offer now?

Listed current trends in the video
1.
More spaceOf course, not every apartment or house can have a spacious bathroom. But if you follow the rule: the more, the better, then there is a chance to turn the bathroom into a fashionable and favorite room in the house. In this case, a competent layout of the space is also necessary, as well as the correct selection of finishing materials so that the room remains cozy.
Bathroom concept by Italian brand Antonio Lupi.
The window in the bathroom further confirms it in the status of a full-fledged room. And if it is an exit to a balcony, a terrace or a garden, then taking a bath turns into a small walk. This bathroom was designed by the Idea Group with the new Dolcevita furniture collection.
How about setting aside half of the attic floor for a bathroom? The idea looks pretty, given that the second half is occupied by the bedroom. The photo shows bathroom furniture from Artesi.
Another example of the free use of square meters from the Italian brand Gessi, which specializes in creating luxury bathrooms. The space of the bathroom connected with the bedroom is divided into different functional zones, the boundaries of which are clearly marked.
2. Laconic forms
When it comes to modern interior style, the main trend here is simplicity and conciseness. The fewer details on plumbing and furniture facades, the better. Right angles and rounded shapes are especially relevant.
Minimalists will appreciate this shower composition from Italgraniti.
3. Marble at the height of fashion
I want to talk about this material separately. Natural marble has always been an integral part of classic interiors, but a few years ago it became super popular in modern interiors. It so organically combines naturalness with showiness that it leaves no one indifferent. In the wake of such popularity, more affordable materials began to appear, quite accurately imitating the texture of marble. So making a "marble" bathroom has become much easier.
Active use of materials with a marble texture in contrasting colors has become almost a good tone, although it looks very extravagant. In the photo: finishing materials from Aparici.
4. Textured ceramics
Traditional ceramic tiles are also experiencing a creative boom! New technologies make it possible to create embossed textures, non-standard shapes and unusual color combinations instead of boring tiles. What can I say - ceramics are now in favorites!
Another novelty from the Spanish tile manufacturers is the Orion collection from Besttile.
Ideal for the loft style, relief tiles from Aparici in natural cement color are ideal.
Terracotta color has become especially fashionable in the wake of the popularity of ceramics in general. In the new Revival collection, it is combined with a relief pattern.
5. Wood is the most natural material
We are used to seeing wood as the main component of residential interiors - it always brings a sense of cosiness. But in the bathroom, this material was found infrequently. It's all about the high humidity of these rooms. Again, new technologies (impregnations and moisture-resistant varnishes, as well as the thermal wood drying system) made it possible to cope with this problem. For those who want to find more reliable solutions, there are ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware with wood texture, which are difficult to distinguish from the original.
Light wood combined with white gives a clear association with the Scandinavian style in interiors. In the photo, Wolo plumbing from the Webert factory.
Minimalists will love this bathroom design. Photo by Italgraniti.
5.
Vibrant colors and accentsFor lovers of colorful interiors, there are many options to brighten up the bathroom - this is a countless selection of multi-colored tiles and moisture-resistant paint. Moreover, the easiest and most inexpensive way to make the bathroom more modern is to repaint its walls in one of the trendy shades. By the way, monochrome solutions look the most spectacular!
Intense color and 1960s aesthetics form the basis of Antonio Lupi's concept interior.
An excellent bathroom recipe from Artesi: based on neutral surfaces, deliberately simple furniture and sanitary ware, designer lamps and, of course, an accent wall in trendy color.
Fiandre Architectural Surfaces created this idea of the bathroom. Their MAGNETO collection was used to decorate the walls here.
6. Graphics and drawings
Wallpaper in the bathroom is no longer something out of fantasy. Waterproof coatings of modern wallpaper allow you to use them even in the shower. And powerful ventilation helps to quickly remove excess moisture in the air. And, of course, the design of such wallpaper does not limit the imagination. Not only do the manufacturers themselves offer a large selection of graphics and drawings, but if necessary, you can order wallpaper according to your own sketch.
7. Retro style
Surprisingly classic shapes and retro style continue to be popular. Connoisseurs of tradition are willing to put up with a little less comfort to create the right atmosphere in the bathroom. The benefit of plumbing, despite the classic design, is done according to modern standards.
Classic English sanitary ware is a brand in its own right that has made traditional design a cult. For example, the Drummonds Bathroom shower and washbasin look the same as they did 150 years ago.
Equipe's Artisan tiles imitate vintage handmade ceramic tiles. Which certainly gives the interior a more authentic look.
