Where the famous Hollywood actress Kate Winslet lives
Kate Winslet is a famous Hollywood actress who became in demand after the release of the movie Titanic. The artist does not like to put her personal life on display. Kate is not on social networks, she does not share with fans the details of her daily life. Therefore, nothing was known about Winslet's real estate until she decided to sell her penthouse in New York.
Which interior did the actress choose for the first floor
Kate bought a luxury apartment with her ex-husband Sam Mendes. After the breakup of the marriage in 2012, the actress bought the second half of the property from him and became a full-fledged mistress.
Kate rarely visits New York, so she first decided to rent the penthouse for $20,000, and then put it up for sale for $5. 7 million. The apartments are two-story - on the ground floor there is a spacious living room, which is combined with a dining room and a kitchen. On the second floor there are three bedrooms, the same number of bathrooms and a large roof terrace.
The actress chose a minimalist style to decorate the penthouse. Minimum furniture, maximum space. There are many panoramic windows in the combined living room with the kitchen, so the room turned out to be bright and cozy. The space is divided into several zones with the help of a competent arrangement of furniture.
A soft zone was placed near the windows and a place for reading was arranged. They installed a large beige sofa, a small coffee table with wooden legs and a glass surface. Along the entire wall, opposite the windows, there is an open rack, high from ceiling to floor, which is half filled. On the shelves are memorabilia and souvenirs of Kate Winslet, there is also a small collection of books. Near the shelving is a comfortable couch, upholstered in black fabric. To make it comfortable to read in the evening, they installed a floor lamp on a long leg. In the corner near the windows there is a large vase with a decorative tree.
There is a fireplace in the middle of the room, and next to it there is another soft zone with small white sofas and two black chairs. For contrast, two bright red ottomans were placed. Near the furniture is a small table for tea parties.
The dining area has a large wooden table that can seat 6-8 people. In this part of the room, the window sills are low, one of them is covered with soft pillows. You can sit with a cup of coffee and enjoy the views of the city.
The bar counter separates the kitchen from the common area. All cabinets, countertops are made of solid wood. The equipment is made of stainless steel. Near the window on both sides are built-in niches with open shelves for spices.
What the second floor looks like
The penthouse lobby has a staircase leading to the top floor. There are three bedrooms here: one main, children's and guest. Each room has its own bathroom.
The master bedroom has large panoramic windows. Due to the bright daylight and white walls, the room turned out to be spacious and comfortable. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a couch near the window and a couple of flowerpots with fresh flowers. From the room you can get into the snow-white bathroom. All plumbing and faucets are antique. A large mirror hangs on the wall in front of the window. There is also a beautiful, deep clawfoot tub.
On the second floor there is a small study with access to the terrace. There is a desk and a black armchair in the room. There is also a sofa and an armchair, two tables made of logs. Near the opposite wall is a stand with a large plasma.
The terrace is furnished with wooden furniture and soft, removable white cushions. There are also two sun loungers for sunbathing. Along the entire perimeter of the terrace there are large pots with live plants and ornamental trees. There is also a small table for evening gatherings and dinners.
The children's room has two 1.5 beds. Between them is not a large bedside table for books. The walls are decorated with posters and figurines of animals. All toys fit in a large basket.
The guest bedroom has a wood frame double bed and a small blue armchair. All rooms on the second floor were finished in a light finish, and parquet was laid on the floor.
Do you like actress Kate Winslet? What do you think of the interior of her Penthouse in New York?
“I managed to grab a bra and passports” / Bright Side
Sometimes love comes from where you don’t expect it. For many years, our favorite actress Kate Winslet could not find "her" person, but she deserves to love and be loved. Her acquaintance with her future husband was, to put it mildly, unusual, but in the end it became the beginning of something warm and bright.
We at ADME believe that love can be found in any circumstance. That's why we are happy to share the love story of Kate Winslet and her husband.

The Titanic star's personal life has not been easy. The actress made a dizzying and successful career, and there was discord in the relationship: her previous marriages did not work out the way she wanted. Kate's first marriage lasted only 3 years, and the second - 8. From two unions, the actress had two children: Mia and Joe.
Since we don't really know what goes on behind the scenes of a couple's relationship, this is what Kate herself said in an interview: “I know people who got divorced many times before they found their love. And, unfortunately or fortunately, I was one of them. I didn't think, of course, that everything would turn out like this. And believe me, it was difficult.

owned by billionaire Richard Branson. The mansion in which the actress was staying was struck by lightning, and a fire started.
Fortunately, she was able to get out with her children unharmed. Recalling what happened that day, Kate mentioned: "I managed to grab a bra, passports and children." It was at that moment that a meeting took place that forever changed her life.

On that day, Kate met Ned Rocknroll, Branson's nephew, who also lived on the island in a neighboring residence. She recalls: "He was the only one who stood in shoes and with a flashlight on his forehead, no one else had time to take so many things. " Their meeting was, to put it mildly, unusual, but since then they have been inseparable. Kate enjoyed spending time with him. According to her, he is "a rather original person."
His real name is Edward Abel Smith. The companion of the actress decided to change the name because it seemed boring to him.

Ned proposed to Kate in the summer of 2012 and they got married in New York in December of that year. Their close friend reported that there were very few people at the ceremony.
Although we don't have many details about this wedding, we're sure it was just as wonderful as their love story. In 2013, the couple celebrated the birth of their common son Bear.

Kate shared many times how lucky she was to meet her husband. She often calls him "an extraordinary life partner." He supports her in her work, takes care of her and their big family.
