RHS Chair of Judges, James Alexander-Sinclair said of the award winning garden:
“It’s exciting to be back at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May, and while all of this year’s gardens are sensational, a few really stood out. It was a hard-fought debate between the members of the judging panel to decide which garden to award Best in Show. In the end, all the judges were captivated by the skill, endeavour and charm of A Rewilding Britain Landscape – every step is exquisite.”

Russian florist Dmitry Turkan won the gold medal of the world's most prestigious flower show Chelsea in London in the table still life nomination.
In the entire history of the Chelsea Flower Show, Russian participants have managed to receive high awards only three times.
Dmitry's installation "Whispering Hearts" received one of the highest awards not only for the floral design, but also for the concept. In the center of the composition is a table and two chairs, which are surrounded by English flowers and twigs of Russian willow, which was delivered in suitcases from Russia. nine0003
The jury of the exhibition highly appreciated Dmitry's idea - the noise and rustling of the willow creates the feeling that someone is whispering their innermost secrets, the table invites to a conversation, according to the author's intention, to a truce, and a jug of water symbolizes life itself.

The world-famous annual exhibition of the Royal Horticultural Society has opened in Chelsea, London. Traditionally, the site for it is provided by the Royal Hospital, or as it is otherwise called, the House of Army Veterans. The Chelsea Flower Show is one of the largest in the world. Every year, collections of gardens and arboretums from different parts of the world participate in the competition. nine0022
Invariably, guests and participants of the exhibition are greeted by veterans of the British army in traditional red uniforms, living in the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. It was founded by decree of King Charles II and traditionally serves as a home for retired military and war invalids.

Photo caption,This year, on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of the reign of Elizabeth II, some exhibits at the Chelsea Flower Show are dedicated to the Queen. This is her portrait made with plants. nine0003
The first exhibition opened on May 20, 1913 and lasted three days. Subsequently, it was canceled only during the periods of the First and Second World Wars. Each time the exhibition area increased, the compositions became more refined and brighter, and new nominations appeared in the competition program. Some gardeners prefer to make whimsical installations, others like minimal decoration that does not overshadow the beauty of flowers. As, for example, on this exposition of lilies.

Queen Elizabeth II is patron of the Royal Horticultural Society and almost never missed an exhibition during her reign. This year it coincided with a series of celebrations of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - the 70th anniversary of her tenure on the British throne.

Daffodils are the first flowers to appear in Britain when spring arrives. They grow literally everywhere - in parks, gardens, flowerbeds and just along roadsides. And although this flower has never been considered exquisite, English gardeners give it a place of honor. nine0003
