Late in 2020, Tampa Bay Buccaneers player Tom Brady moved to Indian Creek Island near Miami beach. Then, in March 2022, he announced his retirement, before surprising fans with a return to the team for the 2022 season.
Before relocating to Florida, Brady and Bündchen lived in this beautiful home in New England home, and it is certainly a sight to behold. Below, you can take a video tour to see the interiors of the Brookline, Massachusetts, house, which eventually sold for around $32 million.
Regarded as one of the greatest football players ever, Tom Brady, also known as Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr., wasn't drafted until the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft.
It was in 2020 that Tom Brady said goodbye to the New England Patriots on social media, capping off a historic 20-year run that would seal his status as an all-time great.
The news was about as big as it gets in the American football world, but in real estate circles, the announcement came as little surprise. Only a few weeks prior to his departure, the star had ramped up the marketing campaign for his Massachusetts mansion that had been on the market for $33.9 million.

The pair first marketed it for sale in summer 2020 at $39.5 million; it eventually sold for around $7 million less.
The change of location was believed to be popular with Bündchen, who reportedly told Vogue : 'I’m not going to lie. Cold is not my flavor. I’m Brazilian. I’d rather live barefoot in a hut in the middle of the forest somewhere.'
According to Sotherby's International Realty, the five-bedroom property centers on a 10,000-square-foot manor built by Richard Landry, the same architect who built the couple's last home in Brentwood – which the pair sold to music mogul Dr.
Dre for $40 million in 2014.

Situated on more than five acres and adjacent to the 9th hole of The Country Club –the oldest country club in the United States – the home features extraordinary views of plush landscaping, all while offering much-needed privacy.
The surrounding accompanying land, which has room for an expansive swimming pool, sun deck and vegetable garden, and a 2,400-square-foot barn-style guesthouse that Gisele Bündchen described as her 'sanctuary' also holds a yoga studio and loft space.

It’s not just Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s marriage that’s on pause; construction on the troubled couple’s South Florida mansion has been halted amid their looming divorce.
“There is no telling what they will do with what was supposed to be their forever marriage home,” an insider told The Post Thursday, noting that last week’s Hurricane Ian also contributed to the building break.

Before becoming the decorated NFL star he is today, Brady got his start in real estate when he bought an apartment at 314 Commonwealth Avenue back in 2004. And it wasn't just an old apartment; it was the history of Boston.
According to Realtor.com, Burrage House is "a 113-year-old castle-like home in Boston's legendary Back Bay neighborhood." However, the price should not be mocked either. Brady originally bought a 3,412-square-foot bachelor apartment with 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (as it was before he got married) for $4,125,000. He sold it just a few years later in 2008 for $5,285,000.

Brady's former residence at 310 Beacon Street certainly made headlines when it was sold back in 2012. But the sale alone wasn't the reason real estate was so much discussed in the city.
In 2009, the same year that Brady and Bündchen got married, the couple put their Beacon Street Penthouse - complete with five fireplaces, two rooftops and a gym - on the market. And the initial listing price? Well it was 10 900,000 dollars. However, the 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home located on Bean Town's famous Beacon Street didn't attract much interest for a while. The penthouse was ultimately sold in 2012 for $9,271,000, well below the original asking price.

Even before the couple got married, they found their dream plot, aiming for a typical California dream life. Of course, such a life is available only to the super-rich. Eventually, the couple will build their perfect mega-mansion. However, it might not be the over-the-top glitz and glam you might expect (despite having a moat…).
To say that Brady and Bündchen are healthy is an understatement. So it's no surprise that even their posh Los Angeles mansion was built for responsible living. The 18,298-square-foot home used recycled materials, solar panels, and even a chicken coop. And according to Architectural Digest, the couple wanted the house to really be a home. (There is no information on whether it was kept by Dr. Dre, to whom they sold the house in 2014 for $40 million).

After leaving the Gold Coast in 2014, Brady and Bündchen traveled back east to establish a Massachusetts estate as their base. Located about half an hour from the Patriots' practice stadium, the couple's current permanent residence is in Brooklyn (and also next door to Patriots owner Robert Kraft).
This Massachusetts mansion with five bedrooms, a sun room and a library with a balcony overlooking the gym (of course) is a custom-built complex that couples designed for a hefty $4.5 million.

After purchasing the new Tribeca property in 2016 (more on that later), Brady and Bündchen planned to sell their luxury Manhattan site located in the One Madison Skyscraper.
The couple purchased the four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom condominium in 2014 for about $11.7 million. They hope to sell it for $17.25 million.
Seems expensive? Well, you know what they say: a picture is worth a thousand words. And the views that open from their excavations on the 48th floor are something unusual. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of Madison Square Park and the Empire State Building.
What's more, we're still waiting to hear if they left this place. Apparently, it all depends on another pending property. In accordance with p. Sixth, the couple "is expected to move out of this space as soon as construction on 70 Vestry is completed in 2018." And that brings us to the next point.

In fact, it's so exclusive that it's not even ready yet. According to Forbes, "In August 2016, Brady and Bündchen became the first celebrities to receive a stake in 70 Vestry, a new luxury condominium in New York City's Tribeca neighborhood scheduled for completion in 2018."
They originally spent $20 million on an apartment on the 11th floor, but Page Six reports that Brady, who wears the number 12 on the back of his Patriots jersey, was interested in purchasing the house on the 12th floor, which was valued at $32. million dollars.
While the couple's greatest attraction was the privacy of the building, we're confident they'll make use of the hotel's other amenities, such as the swimming pool, squash court, and cycling, yoga, and pilates studios.

In December 2006, a mutual friend set them up on a blind date.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Giselle admitted that from the very first meeting she realized that Tom was the one.
“I immediately understood everything as soon as I saw him. He smiled, and I thought: “This is the most beautiful and charismatic smile that I have ever seen.” We chatted for three hours. I had to go home for Christmas, but I didn't want to leave. You know, it feels like everything is not enough? ”, Giselle said.
The supermodel also added that since they met, they haven't spent a single day without talking to each other.
Thunder in Paradise
Before going on a date with Giselle, Tom dated actress Bridget Moynahan. Shortly after the breakup, Bridget told Tom that she was pregnant.
“Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex was expecting a baby. The next day, the news was everywhere, and my world seemed to be turned upside down. There is no need to explain how difficult that time was for me, but at the same time I grew as a person, ”Giselle wrote in her memoirs.
“Jack, my stepson is a huge gift and blessing in my life,” she added.

Tom and Giselle stayed together despite Bridget's pregnancy. John Edward Thomas Moynahan was born in August 2007. Bridget revealed in 2011 that Tom was not present at the birth, but visited the newborn at the hospital the next day.
Two weddings
It has long been believed that Tom proposed to Giselle in 2009 on a private jet from New Jersey to Boston.
Allegedly, the quarterback decorated the cabin with 400 roses and champagne. But the legend was not true.
In 2018, a Brazilian woman told how it really happened:
“Tom deceived me by saying that my house was flooded and I needed to get there as soon as possible. I arrive, and the whole apartment is decorated with candles and roses, and he kneels down and proposes. And I'm like, "Get up!" He had just had an operation, he had an infection three times. I'm like, "What are you doing?" And he: "We must kneel." I say, “No, no, no! Please get up!"
Less than two weeks later, the couple married in a modest ceremony at a Catholic church in Santa Monica, California.
"We planned it for 10 days and it worked out perfectly," Brady told GQ.
The second ceremony was held two months later on the beach in Costa Rica, where they have their own home.

In the same year, Gisele explained in Vanity Fair that they shared common values.
“He is very close to his family. He is a Catholic. His parents have been married for 40 years. He has a pure heart. For me, that's the only thing that matters," Bundchen said.
An addition to the family
Giselle gave birth to her first child, Benjamin Reina Brady, on December 8, 2009. The supermodel revealed she gave birth in the bathroom of her Boston penthouse.
“The doctor said it was too dangerous for me to give birth at home. He said that Benny was in an unconventional position, that my hips were too narrow, and the odds were not in my favor. But I was set like this: "it's not for you to decide." No one could dissuade me, ”Giselle admitted.

Three years later, in 2012, the daughter of Vivienne Lake Brady was born.
“We are so happy that we experienced the miracle of birth again and will be forever grateful for the opportunity to become the parents of a little angel. “My husband can't fucking throw and catch the ball at the same time,” these words of the Brady wife were recorded by television cameras.
Defletgate
In 2015, People reported that the couple were having marital difficulties after Tom was suspended for several games following a ball blowing incident in the 2014 conference finals.
The scandal was called defletgate.
Giselle later spoke to CBS about her relationship difficulties.
“Father always said that the quality of life directly depends on the quality of relationships. No matter how difficult it was for us, we always supported each other in everything. This is the most important thing that can be in life - love and a support system, ”said Bundchen.

Then Giselle posted a photo on Instagram and joked that during the disqualification, it was she who kept Tom in shape.
Brady spoke about the real problems in his marriage last April on The Howard Stern Show.
“Several years ago it happened. She did not feel that I was fulfilling my family obligations.
From her point of view, I played football all season while she took care of the house, and when the season ended, I was like: “Well, let me start my other business. And then I'll go to practice." She wasn't happy with the way things were going, and I had to change a few things. For her, it was like, “Yes, it works for you, but not for me.” I had to think hard. She also has her own goals and dreams, ”said Brady.
Ups and downs
In 2016, Tom and Giselle, with a combined wealth of $540 million, were named by Forbes as one of the most powerful couples in the world. That year they sold their Los Angeles home for $40 million to rap artist Dr. Dre and moved into an expensive mansion near Boston.
In the same year, Tom Gailynn's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Of course, for the athlete it was a difficult period, but his wife always remained by his side.
“Proud of a great fighter! I love you so much, dear Gaylinn,” Giselle wrote on Instagram.
Gaylynn and Giselle attended Super Bowl 51 together and celebrated with Brady over Atlanta.
When the Patriots lost to the Philadelphia in 2018, reporters overheard Bundchen comforting the kids. She used to say to her little daughter:
“Dad won five times. And they've never won before. Sometimes you have to let others win. We have to share."
Future
In September 2017, Tom told CBS that he and his wife disagreed about when he should retire.
“This question comes up from time to time. She says: “Ten years ago you told me that ten more years, and that's it. And after these ten years, you say that here's another five, and then that's it, ”brady laughed.
Giselle herself ended her modeling career in 2015 after 20 successful years in the business.
